Derek Anderson is not a bad Idea! Also I noticed that thier actually is at leat FIVE that’s right FIVE quarterbacks that could be drafted first round! They could get one of them. Here’s the list:
Colt Brennan
Andre Woodson
Brian Brohm
Matt Ryan
Dennis Dixon
ANY of these guys could help us out, and they might actually be able to get the ball out to Vernon Davis or Lelie.

I’ve only been watching football since 1988 (I was 5), but this is by far the most unwatchable 49er team I’ve ever seen. They have better personnel than the previous Nolan years or the Erickson years, but they, for whatever reason, are playing like complete garbage. I mean, I’m happy when they get a 1st down/don’t make a turnover/ don’t run for negative yards. This is absolutely horrible. Even the defense is bad now. Clements is getting burned, Willis (because he’s the only good player on the team) is being taken out of the game…it’s really awful. I just couldn’t keep watching after the 1st quarter.

Right now, Smiley needs to go, Heitman needs to go, Larry Allen is going to retire, Kwame will go somewhere else so it doesn’t matter, DJAX needs to go, Battle needs to go, Gilmore needs to go. To any fan that still believes in this team, please tell me why? We can use every excuse in the book (bad calls, missing starters etc) but the bottom line is we are a horrible team. I have supported this team my whole life! I can’t find the words except to say this year has totally bomb. I truly belive i didn’t set the bar to high for the niners. I was thinking 9-7. Not great, but an improvement! We will be lucky to reach 4-12! This team in not going to come around this year. It kills me to say this…we will have to wait until next year!

Yea we can screamfor him to bench this guy and fire this guy but that’s kinda fucking tough to do during the regular season. Also is it Nolan’s fault the guy who was pretty good on the D at helping contain the RB and TE got injured for the year? Next season we will hopefully address interior O-Line and D-Line. But seriously you guys are overreacting now. We just hit a storm of bad luck this season. Smith being out the past few weeks probably cost us a win or two. The Line is costing us big time. And say what you want about trading that 1st to the Pats but what we got from it(Staley) is the only part of the O-Line who has been starting worth bragging about.

Do I get the feeling that all the progress the team made last year was because of Norv Turner and not Mike Nolan? YES. Every team in the NFL has problems. The 49ers deal with their problems in a horrible fashion, and that reflects on their management. Mainly NOLAN.
