We need Taller receivers! Bigger targets! Our receiver are too small and are having a hard time! They can’t get open, or seperate themselves from the corners!
Jason | Sep 11, 2007 | Reply
The receivers do no have that height advantage! Get up for the high ball!

We have a taller receiver. His name Ashley Lelie and he had 1 play from scrimmage?!?!?! I know Jacobs is a Nolan favorite, but sorry, he dropped the only ball thrown his way. Time to give Lelie a chance.

The official scorer jobbed Willis. I re-watched the game and I got about 14 tackles. Nolan said in his press conference the coaches counted 15.
jerry | Sep 11, 2007 | Reply
Thats funny!!The league is now trying to cheat Willis out of tackles!!!Can they get anymore lower!
jerry | Sep 11, 2007 | Reply
Does anyone know if Ray McDonald played at all.I didnt take notice if he did or not.
samra | Sep 11, 2007 | Reply
tel me how the patriots got caught cheating…and people were comparing tom brady to Joe montana…hell id look like joe montana if my coach told me exactly what play the defense was goin to play…thats bull how they been video tapin the defensive play calls…i think billichik be suspended for 1 full year the patriots be on postseason probation for two years and no draft picks this year

Quick fantasy question…and this one is going to hit our division. I have Reggie Brown as one of my receivers ( my bottom feeder receiver), but Deion Branch just hit the waiver wire…should I pick him up???

props to our defense as a whole. the secondary was amazing. the linebacking core was pretty good. if patrick willis wasn’t there then i think it wouldn’t have been so good. i didn’t see TBC get in the backfield once. manny lawsom was alright. but our dline was horrible. the only pass rush we got all night was on blitzes. very disappointed. if we didn’t run the 3-4 we never would’ve gotten pressure.

who cares about the patriots.. i’m sure they arent the only team who has spies on the field. they wont be penalized at all probably. at most a 7th round pick. but dont be suprised if they dont get penalized at all. anyway back to the niners…. the eddy to brandon williams, is that referring to him fair catching punts?? if so i’d rather have him do that then muff the damn thing. i’m sorry, but i grew up watching Dexter Carter returning kickoffs and punts. I used to cringe everytime the ball was kicked to him. he’d either muff the punt or fumble during the return. Anyone else remember that ass clown.

there should be an eddie for aligator arms. my vote goes to d-jax. he hella pussed out on a couple plays. he saw the safety or the linebacker and he would just let the ball fly by without an effort to catch it. he got cracked anyway, he might as well have caught the damn ball. then he drops that one in the endzone at the end too.

I’m just glad we won the game.

Ok men, here is a VERY valid question to you all and it is about the Patriots. What IF the Pats lose multiple draft picks and one of them is the one that we gave them for Staley…would we get our pick back??? Wishful thinking…maybe, but it COULD happen.

jerry, I don’t think McDonald suited up. If I’m not mistaken, they only went with five DLs and McDonald sat for the game, along with the guy they picked up last week.
Jason | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
Willis will be Rookie of the year. Him or Jacoby Jones! Willis I think will go down as one of the most dominating receivers in history. The guy is at every play. He always there.
Jason | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
Correction,I mean the best linebackers in history. I have receivers in my mind as a concern on our team.

Bring back the throwbacks. We need the 81 uniforms for good. Those uniforms looked sharp and classy. When we changed from the 81 throwbacks it was like changing the traditional Yankee uiniforms. That team has kept its tradition and it’s uniforms the same. We need to keep the winning tradition the same. Please 49ers go back to the 81 style uniforms!
Spivey | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
the players even looked big and bader! They looked like the 49ers of old!
Spivey | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
I would keep the 81 uniforms exactly the same, but I would change the face shield to the red of that time! Keep everything exactly the same thing except the shield color. Do not change anything else!
Spivey | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
If the face mask color stayed the same, then thats cool too! Just bring back those 81′ uniforms the exact same way they were on the Monday night game!
Spivey | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
The 94′ uniforms were ugly, white pants, the currents are really nice, but like I said we need to keep the Bill Walsh tradition alive forever. Would the yankee fans like if they changed from their longlived tradition uniforms. they kept it old school, they kept the original style! To me thats class and tradition. Bring back the 81′ uni’s!(The same!)
razoreater | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
my concerns lie with the lambs-not uniform-let’s keep the same physical mentality and open the playbook up a little bit for cripe’s sake-memo to nolan:start lelie now!enough with the mind game’s already-put the speedy sob in!
McLovin | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
I think its safe to say our defense is badass.
McLovin | Sep 12, 2007 | Reply
I think the award for most over looked and underated team goes to the 49ers.oh by the way were at the top of the devision.

“hit of the day goes to Patrick Willis for sticking the crap out of Matty Leinart”
and this was a LEGAL hit with NO flags, even though his offensive linemen needed to defend him afterwards! Smart rookie means great play! Thank you Nolan for knowing how great this kid can be….Keep it up and no injuuries for everyone!!!!
Staley, I forgive your missed block…don’t let it happen again, LOL!
