Niners Finish 8-8 Behind an Offensive Offense
Niners finish the season 8-8, despite an offense that started shaky and really didn’t put up points until the 4th quarter. Thank goodness the defense played well and the Rams suck.

The 49ers won their 7th game of the season over the Detroit Lions. It was a rough start for the 49ers in the first half.
The 49ers may not make it to the playoffs, but tonight they sure played like a playoff team. The 49ers beat the Cardinals for the second time this season, behind the legs of Frank Gore and a stellar defense that forced seven turnovers.
I’m sure we can add more numbers to those that contributed to this loss, but a fumble by Frank, a fumble by Brandon Jones and a dropped touchdown by Vernon Davis get credit for this loss.
The 49ers won their 5th victory of the season 20-3 over the Jacksonville Jaguars and this was perhaps the first game in a long time where they won on all sides of the ball. Alex Smith it seems is starting to find his groove
Mike Singletary and Co, have a little bit of thinking to do after the loss to the Texans. Starter Shaun Hill was pulled after another horrid performance for backup Alex Smith who came in and got the team back into the game and almost pulled out a come from behind victory.
The 49ers shutout the St Louis Rams for their third win of the season, after beating down the Rams the 49ers are now 3-1 on the season and 3-0 in the NFC West.
Looks like Vernon Davis may have some bulletin board material after the latest comments from Cardinals Adrian Wilson.
It looks like Vernon Davis has had enough with Michael Crabtree being a douche and has this advice for him.
Let’s take a look around Twitter and see what some of the Niners who are tweeting are up to.
Alex Marvez of FoxSports has released his NFL’s All-Overpaid and All-Underpaid teams list. This year three 49ers have made the lists. Overpaid: Vernon Davis & Mr. Glass. Underpaid: Parys Haralson. Here is what Alex had to say regarding all three.
I spoke to Coach Singletary today. We talked briefly. I didn’t really say much to him, I pretty much just listened to what he had to say. I saw the point he was trying to make as far as on the field. He pretty much told me I’ve got to be aware of what’s going [...]
The 49ers may have fired their head coach, but that didn’t stop the losing. Interim coach Mike Singletary has a lot to fix and the bye week could not have come at a better time. Here is the latest going ons in this weeks Monday Morning Punter.
Don’t F with Singletary. (About time someone put the [...]
Here are Beasts and Bitches for Week 3. The 49ers beat the Lions 31-13 to improve to 2-1.
The 49ers won their second in a row by defeating the Lions 31-13. Also for the second week in a row the 49ers scored over 30.
The 49ers are set to open up preseason tomorrow and then the cuts will begin. It’s always a crap shoot trying to figure out who will or will not make the squad.
It seems that the 49ers-Raiders practice wasn’t all fun and games. After reading a report from Matthew Barrows it seems that there were some heated tempers between the two.
Training Camp has started and the 49ers have a couple practices under their belt. So far Nolan hasn’t had them practice in pads, not sure why maybe he’s hoping the NFL switches to flag football this season.
Now that this tragedy of a season is over, it’s time to look forward to some offseason soap opera. I have a feeling we’re going to experience some very good highs this year. Keep in mind that, while most of this is a very good possibility, it’s not neccessarily what is going to happen. More [...]
Incase you turned off your TV and watched something else, the 49ers put no points on the board and after losing their 7th in a row, they are perhaps the worst team in the NFL and possibly history.
Randy Moss has more touchdowns (12) than the 49ers offense (10). (And yet Hostler and others still have [...]
It’s 6:37 am PST and OC Hostler still has a job.
I was just checking the box score and Andy Lee had more yards punting than the 49ers had in total offense. Thank God for Andy Lee.
The 49ers passing offense isn’t the worst in the history of the 49ers, during a 16 game season. That honor goes [...]
The 49ers made it through the first two weeks without any significant injuries, but after the game against the Steelers the injury bug has finally made it’s way on the team. Manny Lawson is already done for the season and Vernon Davis finished the game on the bench. Let’s just hope the injuries that appeared [...]
Singletary Looks to Finish 8-8
Christmas is a time for miracles. Too bad we didn’t get one. I thought if I wished hard enough, and wanted it more than anything, my 49ers would win the division and compete in the playoffs. It was a lot to ask for, I know. The Arizona Cardinals had to lose [...]
