The San Francisco 49ers have tendered contract offers to linebacker Ahmad Brooks and offensive lineman David Baas.

In 2009, the 49ers will send out an offensive line averaging about 320 pounds. Left tackle Joe Staley checks in at 318, left guard David Baas is a massive 335, center Eric Heitmann goes 315, right guard Chilo Rachal is a robust 335 and right tackle Adam Snyder is 330.

It this the kiss of death again for the offensive line? Mike Martz is on record as saying the 49ers’ offensive line, is the best unit he’s been around in a “long, long time.”

Only four days until the 49ers kickoff the preseason in Oakland. To gear up for that game the 49ers are heading to Napa for a joint practice with the Raiders.

David Baas, 26, projected as the starter at right guard, is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle.
I think we we're really lucky to win that game... the defense wasn't great. They let gradkowski and campbell chuck ...

The 49ers look flat on offense with the exception of gore. Nate Bynam has dropped 2 balls on one ...
