On the very first route he ran today during a one-on-one session against the Raiders, Bryant Johnson and his hamstring came up lame. His availability is day-to-day.

Training Camp has started and the 49ers have a couple practices under their belt. So far Nolan hasn’t had them practice in pads, not sure why maybe he’s hoping the NFL switches to flag football this season.

This week the Niners should hopefully have the OC job wrapped up. As of now only one candidate has been interviewed and that is Chan Gailey. Let’s just hope Nolan makes the right call.
