MMP: Laughing at the Cardinals
It must suck to be a Cardinals fan this morning. Your quarterback almost throws for 500 yards and you lose to a 2-8 rival. Yep sucks to be a Cards fan.
- 49ers were 8-1 heading into the game when Gore carried 20+, well he carried 21 times and the 49ers won. (See Jim it’s not hard just give the ball to Frank)
- This is who we thought they were. (Too bad it took 11 games to finally show it)
- Fields first sack couldn’t have come at a better time.
- Roderick Green has more sacks in 2 games than Banta-Cain has in 11. (Good job Tully)
- Tully made history. (But he’s no Roderick Green)
- Neil Rackers made his best Jose Cortez/Owen Pochman impersonation.
- It’s all about Tollner. (The new duo OC’s now dubbed Tostler)
- Patrick Willis finished the day with 18 tackles. (Derek Smith had 3)

LOL. I agree with the comment above. It’s obviously not realistic to be thinking about a superbowl, but damnit we need SOMETHING to cheer about.
A dormant offense finally gets the ball to its playmakers; and the defense, although giving up a lot of yards, made the plays that mattered.
The core of our team is still pretty darn young and Im hoping and praying that this is something to build off of.
I’m still skeptical about “Rollin’ with Nolan”, but damnit, if hes the coach of our beloved San Francisco 49ers then he has my support.
And to you wondeful Cardinal fans; SWEEP!! SWEEP!! SWEEP!! SWEEP!!!!!

I think we will go 8-8, make the playoffs as the sixth seed and beat seattle dallas and green bay on our way to the superbowl where we kill the patriots and give them the number 32 pick in the draft

Wat r u guys smoking on this site. Wow a win thats there job isnt it. Giving up 500 yards on defense isnt that great. Nedney can u kick 50 yards anymore? They looked better but it shouldnt have taken so many games. Im still not rollin with Nolan!!!!! But was happy to see us win…

Anybody else believe that Daryl Jackson is the worse WR in the NFL right now? He has to be leading the league in drops for sure. Maybe I should have listend to those Seacock fans when they were jumping for joy that they got rid of him.

So, let’s not get too excited about Hostler. Two well respected NFL offensive coordinators just became available—Callahan (Nebraska) or Gailey (Georgia Tech). While they are not superstars, they are still decent OC’s.

Definetely not Rollin’ with Nolan, but the stat that sticks out to me is when Gore gets 20+ carries, 49ers record is 8-1. I also want to know if a healthy Alex Smith can get it done. I hope we know sooner than later so we can look for a descent QB.
