The 49ers host the Chargers for their final preseason game. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm PST.

Here is what we know:

  • Rossum, Jennings, Snyder, Morgan and Keith Lewis will not play.
  • The starters will play one series.
  • Ashley Lelie and Bryant Johnson are expected to see their first game action

i like our chances w/ J.T.O. I was a believer in Alex Smith and I do think he could win in the league, but he needs some help. Norv was the only one who gave him help and it shows. Its no use in the niners going with Smith now though. Its very apparent that the coach and OC feel j.t.o is better for the moment at least. I’ll pull for whoever the niners have behind center. Unless its a complete lack of talent. In which any true football fan can tell we have “some” talent at qb. It just needs to transfer to game time. Look at Drew Brees. I see some of the same issues in smith as in brees. But if J.T pans out I dont mind letting smith go. There is no use bitching about smith or j.t. The niners will find out soon enough who can lead this team. Championships rarely happen over night.

He will win in this league, just won’t be with us I don’t think.I fear he will go somewhere where he will have stability at the coordinator position and some talent at the WR position and he will be a very good QB.Alot of people like to put all the blame on Alex and they shouldn’t.Take last year for example.I believe Alex played in a total of 7 games last year,5 of them injured. The other games were played by a
Super Bowl winning QB(Trent Dilfer),and he looked horrible.Alex’s first year in the league we had the worst defense in the league as well as the worst offense.Alex is part of the reason our offense has been terible, but he’s not the only reason. That’s all i’m tryin to say.

not to mention 4 cordinators in 4 years. i dont care who you are you are not gonna win having to learn an offense every year. NO FUCKIN WAY.jto beat him out cuz he knows this offense and out played smith. tell you the truth, im not sold on jto winning either but i hope to god he turns out like kurt warner in his first year. damn that would be nice. oh and i heard tatum bell got released so he jack the dudes luggage that replaced his cry baby ass. hahahahah. aint that some shit. talking all that stuff about martz and now look at him. reminded me of keyshawn when panthers draft dj.
