I'm serious this time. :(

The How Much Longer is Kap in the NFL Thread

Loved him but clear that he's going down a bad path. I predict he ends up on the Eagles next year, fizzles there too, and is then out of the NFL.

Promising 2015 Draft Class

26 August 2015 - 10:08 AM

Over two games and training camp I've actually been surprised at how decent our 2015 draft class is looking. Obviously there's a long ways to go and anything can happen but so far:

Arik Armstead - has looked stout against the run in both pre season games but added more pressure last week. PFF had him graded as a +3.1 against the Cowboys.

Jacquiski Tartt - Has made an impact in both pre season games. Played very well against the Cowboys. His role as a nickel linebacker-safety hybrid could be big for us.

Mike Davis - Looks extremely fluid as a runner and has stood out in the pre season.

Trenton Brown - Probably the best candidate for the swing tackle role. Has a +1.3 grade against the Cowboys and shut down Greg Hardy.

Bradley Pinion - His kickoff leg is great and his punting has been solid.

And then guys like Eli Harold and Ian Silberman have also flashed.

We are actually working on an up tempo offense...

Tomsula hollered for perfection when back-to-back passes were dropped, and he supervised from different vantage points, often behind the offense.

Most evident, he emphasized a fast-paced approach as the first week of organized team activities came to a close. Players on offense and defense raved about that up-tempo emphasis.

"All I hear from him is, 'Tempo. Tempo. Get on the ball. Let's go!' " wide receiver Quinton Patton said.

"I love him, man," safety Antoine Bethea said. "He's charismatic. He's one with the players. It's going to be a good deal for us."

“Sometime we break the huddle at 30 (seconds),” left tackle Joe Staley said. “Honestly, last year it was pretty miserable as far as clock management and what we were doing. That’s definitely a point of emphasis this offseason – operating faster

Tempo? Getting out of the huddle with 20 secs on the play clock? What sorcery is this?!
