MMP: Playoffs? Playoffs?
Where is Jim Mora Sr. when you need him. It has now got to a point where I feel nothing for this team. They win great. They lose oh well. It is a sad state of affairs that this team has lost four in a row.

Mike Singletary and Co, have a little bit of thinking to do after the loss to the Texans. Starter Shaun Hill was pulled after another horrid performance for backup Alex Smith who came in and got the team back into the game and almost pulled out a come from behind victory.
This week’s Monday Morning Punter starts off with a grievence filed by the 49ers against the New York Jets for tampering charges.
It looks like Vernon Davis has had enough with Michael Crabtree being a douche and has this advice for him.
Monday Morning Punter is back, okay well technically it’s Tuesday, so this week we’ll just act like it’s Monday.
Monday Morning Punter is back, well at least for this week. We take a quick look at the players drafted over the weekend. Info courtesy of Matt Maiocco
MICHAEL CRABTREE
First round, No. 10 overall
Position: Wide receiver
College: Texas Tech
The vision: The 49ers expect him to compete – and win – the starting job at split end, where [...]
Shaun Hill is now 5-2 as a starter and Mike Singletary has coached this team to three wins out of there last four meetings. If those two figures aren’t enough to keep both in the same positions next year, then I don’t know what is. Here are some of the rumblings going on around Ninerland [...]
Since this week’s what we learned wasn’t put up after yesterday’s win, we figured we’d go ahead and have the Monday Morning Punter take care of it this week. So here is what we learned.
After the 49ers 8th loss of the season against America’s the hated Cowboys, the 49ers are now guaranteed their 6th consecutive losing season in a row. That’s sad when you think about it. Over those six years the 49ers have a record of 28-63 and this season isn’t even done yet. They still have a [...]
The 49ers won their third and for the first time in a long time looked like they could play with anyone. Sure they made some mistakes, but on all sides of the ball they played their asses off. Today I’m just going to leave you all with some quick numbers/notes from the 49ers PR department.
*The [...]
The 49ers may have fired their head coach, but that didn’t stop the losing. Interim coach Mike Singletary has a lot to fix and the bye week could not have come at a better time. Here is the latest going ons in this weeks Monday Morning Punter.
Don’t F with Singletary. (About time someone put the [...]
As we all know the 49ers lost their third in a row. Once again for the third time the 49ers were outcoached. Let’s take a look around the Bay Area and see what writers are calling for Nolans head.
Nothing from Matthew Barrows about Nolan getting canned.
Nothing from Matt Maiocco, only talk there is how Nolan [...]
It’s roughly 6:30am and somehow, someway Mike Nolan is still head coach of the 49ers. Not sure how that can be.
Amazing isn’t it. 49ers scoring over 30 two games in a row. Thank you Mike Martz.
This weeks Monday Morning Punter we talk Lawson, Bruce, Willis, O’Sullivan and more…
This weeks Monday Morning Quarterback we take a quick look at the day after the Cardinals loss.
Apparently there are rumors floating around that Nolan gameplanned for the Packers game to make Aaron Rodgers look bad.
For those that haven’t heard Takeo Spikes has signed with the 49ers and this signing reunites him with former Bills teammates…
Only four days until the 49ers kickoff the preseason in Oakland. To gear up for that game the 49ers are heading to Napa for a joint practice with the Raiders.
Training Camp has started and the 49ers have a couple practices under their belt. So far Nolan hasn’t had them practice in pads, not sure why maybe he’s hoping the NFL switches to flag football this season.
Not a whole lot happening this offseason. Most of the reports being heard have to do with everyones fascination with the “Ted” position. Aside from that here is the latest from Monday Morning Punter.
The 2008 NFL Draft is officially behind us and the 49ers drafted defensive line, offensive line, wide receiver and secondary. The consensus on the draft is that the picks were safe, and most of the grades are around the C+ range.
We all know that head coach Mike Nolan is on a short leash. It’s almost a given that if he doesn’t succeed this season he’ll be fired. Well rumors are already flying that if Nolan is let go Holmgren may want to head back to San Francisco, but not as head coach. This go around [...]
