The 49ers won their third game of the season and first victory for interim head coach Mike Singletary. From the first half it was all 49ers. They ran the ball well, passed the ball well and didn’t have any stupid penalties or turnovers that hurt them.

Billick Interested in 49ers?

Submitted by FNN Staff on Tuesday, 1 January 20084 Comments

That is just what this team needs, another former Ravens coach. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that according to one league source if Mike Nolan is fired, Billick might be interested in coaching the San Francisco 49ers. Also if Nolan isn’t fired, expect to hear Brian Billick to SF for OC rumors. Billick has ties to the 49ers, he started out his NFL career as a public relations assistant with the San Francisco 49ers, learned how to coach while sitting outside the legendary Bill Walsh’s meeting rooms. Billick was also drafted by the 49ers back in ‘77.

As an OC I wouldn’t mind it, but making this guy our HC would be a step in the wrong direction.

This would equal the dullest offense on earth. Draft Colt from Hawaii, keep Hill for now and get Marty or have Mike S, not NOWIN!!!! The Yorks are abusing the 49er Faithful.

Mike Martz would be the best fit for the 49ers westcoast offence as a offensive cordinator, but if Nolan stays Billick would be the good since Nolan and Billick both run the turner run first offence…but our running game is great, its our pass offence that needs help and Marts is a great pass offensive minded coach. So i would rather have Martz as our offensive cord no matter who is the head coach.

Apparently Mike Nolan is convincing the Yorks. He has a good chance of staying according to ESPN’s John Clayton. Damn you Mike Nolan!! He is to intelligent to not be able to get fired, plus the Yorks stupidity helps. He is a great speaker, he is also nice, but he sucks!!! Those reasons are probally why he might stay another year. Reminder: If he stays Mike Martz will have like a 15% CHANCE OF COMING TO San Fran. If we get Mike Singletary, we have like a 65%, or higher, chance of him coming to the Niners.
