What We Learned: Rams @ 49ers
Sun, 16/11/08 – 16:31 | 34 Comments

The 49ers won their third game of the season and first victory for interim head coach Mike Singletary. From the first half it was all 49ers. They ran the ball well, passed the ball well and didn’t have any stupid penalties or turnovers that hurt them.

Beasts and Bitches: 49ers @ Saints

Submitted by Unknown Stuntman on Monday, 29 September 200812 Comments

So much for that two game winning streak. Here are this weeks Beast and Bitches in the loss to the Saints.

Beasts

  • Frank Gore: Didn’t matter what Frank did today. He couldn’t save the piss poor play of the O-line and the Defense. Gore finished with 82 yards behind a shitty line.
  • JT O’Sullivan: Sure he didn’t put up great numbers and had two interceptions in the endzone, but the guy still got the team in position to score despite getting sacked and hurried all game.
  • Patrick Willis: Thank god for Patrick

Bitches

  • Offensive Line: Six sacks? Let’s see we have Tony Wragge ‘Doll’, Barry ‘On My Back’ Sims, and the others. Still amazed O’Sullivan is still alive. Time for the coaches to mix up the line, get Baas and Chilo in there and for the love of God fire Warhop’s ass.
  • Defensive Line: Queen and David Bowie were certainly not singing about the 49ers defensive line when they collaborated on Under Pressure. That is one thing the opposition’s quarterbacks never have to worry about being under.
  • Secondary: So much for being ranked second against the pass. Lance Moore over 100 yards and 2 TD’s are you kidding me?
  • Sean Payton: Up 28-9 and you go for it on 4th and goal? Up 28-17 and you kick a field goal with 30 seconds left? You sir are an asshole and you may have lost your fullback to injury going for it on that 4th down play. Prick.

There is no excuse for Frank Gore not getting 100 yards yesterday. That is bad coaching in my opinion.

I don’t JTO was a beast, Don’t forget about the fumble. Ya they broke threw the line right away but then a guy was chasing him and he stood there with the ball behind his back.

He held on to the ball way to long yesterday

fUCK IT WAS A BAD SUNDAY CAN WE GIVE jTO SOME TIME WOW 3-1 WAS LOOKING SO GOOD DAM IT BUT AT LEAST WE STILL ARE TIED FOR FIRST IN THE DIVISION THERE IS A POSITIVE

  • wendell said:

JTO was no beast, sorry. pressure or not, you don’t throw the picks he threw today. the OL was useless but he bears some of the responsibility too. it’s also starting to look like JTO has a propensity to hanging on to the ball too long and giving the ball to the opposition.

as usual, bad coaching and an even worse game plan. it seems like nolan has a complete lack of imagination of what can occur within an nfl style game. i’d hate to see this guy play chess..

I have to agree that JTO was a beast yesterday, i watchd that whole game and i saw a man absolutly get his ass kicked for 4 Qts and still move the ball down field, i dont like the fact ppl say well obviously JTOs inexperience is showing thru and blah blah… payton manning couldnt take that beating and still perform! That fucking O-line needs to wash the sand out of their pussys and try to grow a penis before next game… did anyone see the play where BERRY BERRY Sims got LAUNCHED about 5 yards leading to JTO getting killed again? what a BITCH. 90% of the blame (offenseivly, i wont even go off on the D right now) belongs to those 5 Queens we call linemen!!

Jto was no beast, however, he was know star either. Jto made a few mistakes yesterday; turning the ball over in the endzone twice, holding on to the ball too long. You cant be that mad about this guy, it his only his 4th start with a line that has its good days and bad days. This guy tries hard to make things happen, he brings a quarterback disposition that we (niner fans) have not seen an awhile, he will grow and get better, hopefully. What really frustrated me was how the niner defense was gettin beat deep every other play.

exactly what play did willis make? didnt get to see the game…

  • ShaneO said:

hey why not try putting snyder at RT and moving bass in at guard??? Sims sucks balls in Oak sucks balls here

  • gee-ray said:

JTO made a couple of bad throws on TIMING PASSES. not to mention the o line had to have him ancy

  • shane said:

I agree o’sullivan didnt do to bad for no time. THERE IS NOT FUCKING EXCUSE FOR GORE GETTIN THE BALL LESS THAN 20-25 TIMES A GAME. It seems like we try to have the pass almost set up the run which were not good enough to do so, maybe later in the season we will but not yet. The run game still has to be the center of our offense i dont care if were down by 14-17 points. AND WHY THE FUCK IS Lance moore and Meachem running circles on our defense. UNEXCEPTABLE

“hey why not try putting snyder at RT and moving bass in at guard??? Sims sucks balls in Oak sucks balls here” Shane O for O-LINE coach.

  • ShaneO said:

AM: thanks buddy i really wanna be head coach too… i also know how to use time outs!!!!!! haha

Nolan says he used that challenge to slow the game down… the gane wasnt moving fast pace as it was and there was a N.O. player injured on the play…. why would u have to slow the game down? God its frustrating being this close to being good!!!!
