Back again with another episode of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. This week we discuss the conclusion of the 2009 season, special teams, draft, playoffs and make sure you stay tuned for the Warner/Favre debate.
I know this site focuses mostly on the 49ers, but with the recent earthquake in Haiti and it hiting close to home to some players in the NFL, the 49ers and possibly some readers of our site
The offseason has started off with a bang, okay more of a whimper, but the Niner Gods have given us a gift today. Al Everest the so called Special Teams coach was informed today that his contract will not be renewed.
The 49ers are expected to get the 13th overall pick and either the 16th/17th which will be decided by a coin toss between the Titans and the Panthers.
Niners finish the season 8-8, despite an offense that started shaky and really didn’t put up points until the 4th quarter. Thank goodness the defense played well and the Rams suck.

333-550 60.5% 3405 yds 27 TD 19 INT

Just wanted to take a step back from taking shots at the see-saw offense and post some numbers that the defense has put up this year.
The 49ers won their 7th game of the season over the Detroit Lions. It was a rough start for the 49ers in the first half.
The 49ers signed Ricky Schmitt to serve as a kicker Sunday in place of Joe Nedney. Nedney is nursing a hamstring injury and he is not ready to go. Should be an easy transition to Schmitt, because he’s left-footed.
Just wanted to let everyone know, as I’m sure you can see, that we overhauled the site a little. We wanted more of a streamline look and make it less cluttered. Not to much changed besides appearance. Still have the featured articles, comments are still on left hand side. We moved all the twitter feeds to the footer. The site should be now less cluttered as easier to work with.
If there were only a way a bomb could have been dropped on Lincoln Field and affected everyone wearing green.
