Eddie, no offense, but did you look at the standings? Right now, based on the Cardinals game, we are looking at the eigth pick in the draft. We would be fools to waste that on another receiver. After looking at the Jets, it looks like Antonio Bryant will be cancelled out. Turd Ferguson…none of the picks that you mentioned would be available after our first pick except maybe the Notre Dame wide out. The niners would be extremely dumb to waste their first pick on him. We need someone like Quetin Moses or some other stud d linman…then trade away our second, third, and one of 6th rounders for another first pick. The first round is going to be heaven for us if we make the right moves…many teams are going to be thinking Quarterback, O linemen, receivers, and don’t forget about Adrian Petersen or Marshawn Lynch. This gives us an advantage because you better believe that Nolan is going to build his defense this offseason and much of it going to come from the draft. I am seriously not trying to rain on anyone’s parade, but if you think that Nolan will use our first pick for ANYTHING, but a defensive player, then you’re going to be REALLY pissed.

I am a beliver in getting that OTHER wideout, but chances are that Calvin Johnson and Dwayne Jarrett will be gone before we get ahold of them. Minnesota is going to pick up a wideout and they are going to pick before we do…so count out Calvin Johnson. Plus, we have got the texans, redskins, dolphins, brown, bucs, viking, raiders all pickin ahead of us…unless the vikings, lions, dolphins, and redskinds win. In this situation we might be able to go as low as the 5th pick…provided that we lose to the Broncos. I personally would like the team to end the season on a good note. Those are the scenarios. Now look at those teams…what position do you think they need the most. I can tell you right now that the raiders and lions are going QB…the vikings are going wideout, and god knows what the rest of them will do, but bet that a couple of them are going to get o line.
