The 49ers won their third game of the season and first victory for interim head coach Mike Singletary. From the first half it was all 49ers. They ran the ball well, passed the ball well and didn’t have any stupid penalties or turnovers that hurt them.

49ers vs Bucs: Flexed

Submitted by FNN Staff on Monday, 10 December 200717 Comments
“It’s no big surprise, but the 49ers have been spared another showing on national prime-time TV, thanks to the NFL’s flex scheduling format.

The 49ers’ game Sunday, Dec. 23, against the Buccaneers, which was original scheduled for a 5:15 p.m. start on NBC, has been changed. Now, they’ll play the Bucs on Fox at 1:05 p.m. that day.

In the 49ers’ place, NBC will now show the Redskins-Vikings game to a national TV audience.

Im fucking glad to see this shit,Ever since we got a women owner we been a bunch of pussies we need to get rid of the pussies on this team and become strong again.its football not a fashion show.

  • Ninaz said:

^^^^our owner is John York and his wife gets involved alot but that has nothing to do with us being pussies. Also shes the reason why Nolans job is on the line to better this team, otherwise NOlan stays forever.

I am not convinced (after watching the game in person) that the offense WANTS to fight for Nolan. Now, that DOES EXCLUDE GORE, but Davis was clearly ignored until Hill came in. WHY THE HELL AREN’T WE USING DELANIE WALKER AS A WR???

  • Ryan the 1st said:

Again, I say, after watching this game….

This game was painful to watch at the stick. First of all, the fans were booing Dilfer loudly. He looked GOD AWFUL! If Dilfer EVER starts another game for the niners then I will puke all over myself. Dilfer is done and has no place starting a game at the NFL level. His passes were so extremely inaccurate that it was astonishing. We need targets as well because the receivers were clearly going through the motions during this game…Vernon Davis and Delanie Walker seemed to be the only ones who cared. Gore had a tough time against the Vikes….what is even worse is now EVERYONE WE PLAY will be trying to strip the ball from him based on all of those fumbles. YOU CAN’T DO THAT IN THE NFL, FRANK!! Larry Allen and Adam Snyder were getting used and thoroughly beat A LOT! The time has come to replace the left side of the line because I guarantee Allen is going to retire after this season. Abrayo Franklin looked like he was playing through a lot of pain and god bless him for trying. HOSTLER HAS TO GO!!! The team just doesn’t believe…on offense…the defense seemed motivated and ready to fight, fight, fight, but the offense did not look like pros out there AT ALL!!!! Keep this in mind Nolan because the more you lose the hotter your seat is getting and the chin is available. From what I was seeing Nolan has lost control of his team on the sideline…they don’t want to fight for him.

I would be shocked if Miami took Dorsey with the top pick and if Brohm last til Pick 5… I think this guy just wants to see the scenario where Petrino and Brohm are reunited. That’s not gonna happen.

Not saying Dorsey isn’t that good… but… he isn’t THAT good. I think you gotta take Brohm if you’re Miami.

  • Joe S. said:

We have to take Colt Brennan in the first otherwise Miami will take him in the second, cause we don’t know how Alex will recover from surgery, unless Miami just drafts O-lineman for the first 3 rounds to prepare for Tebow

Erickson, thanks very much for posting this. I’m going out of town this Sunday and won’t be back until next Saturday. I may have missed this change without this thread!
Good or bad I have to watch my 49ers!

  • Big M said:

If we spent a 1st Rounder on Colt Brennan, it would be a complete waste. He’s not a 1st Round Talent.
