News out of Ninerland is that linebacker Ahmad Brooks has restructured his contract, giving the 49ers an additional $2 million in cap space.
On my way out the door so no full details but looks like Ahmad Brooks has restructured contract with #49ers creating just over $2M in cap

Ahmad Brooks’ restructured deal includes a $450k reporting bonus in 2015, increasing next year's cap number to $9.6M.

So this gives the 49ers more cap room, (word is around $7.9 million) which could be used for extensions for either Michael Crabtree, Mike Iupati or Alex Boone.
