Report: Vernon Davis seeking new contract

CSN Bay Area is reporting that Vernon Davis is not participating in voluntary OTA’s in hopes of landing a new contract. Vernon is currently the 3rd highest paid tight end in the league and is set to make a base salary of $4.7 million for the 2014 season.

By missing the OTA’s, Vernon is forfeiting $200,000. Vernon joins Alex Boone as players who are not participating in OTA’s due to wanting a new contract.
