Well that didn’t take long. Minutes after the start of free agency, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the 49ers signed free agent safety Antoine Bethea a move to replace Donte Whitner.
After Schefter’s report Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee mentioned it looks to be a 4-year deal worth $26 million.

Bethea has spent his entire career with the Colts and last season the 29 year old finished with 110 tackles, 1 sack and 2 interceptions.
