Roster Moves: Carradine, Ryan Seymour, Devon Wylie

The 49ers made some roster moves on Tuesday. They placed DL Tank Carradine on injured reserve, signed G Ryan Seymour off Seahawks practice squad and signed WR Devon Wylie to practice squad.

Carradine to IR is not that much of a surprise, most of us were hoping we’d get to see him some point this season, but we’ll have to wait for 2014 for that.

Since Ryan Seymour was signed off the Seahawks practice squad, he’ll be part of 53 man roster. He takes Carradine’s place. Also with the signing of Seymour it looks like Mike Iupati will not play again this weekend.

Devon Wylie was selected in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in 6 regular season games where he caught 6 passes for 56 yards. After the Chiefs released him he spent time on the Cardinals practice squad and most recently the Titans practice squad. Wylie takes the spot vacated by Michael Thomas, who signed with the Dolphins earlier today.
