It only took two days into free agency for Dashon Goldson to get paid. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dashon Goldson have come to terms on a multi-year deal. Goldson was a huge asset to the 49ers defense, but the team was not willing to pay him what he wanted. So Goldson did what any other player looking for a payday would do and he bolted the 49ers and got his.
Former 49ers S Dashon Goldson agreed to terms on a five-year deal with Tampa Bay. Really. We're sure.

The 49ers have now lost three of their own free agents, in Goldson, Delanie Walker and Isaac Sopoaga. To make up for the loss of Goldson look for the 49ers to draft a safety or two in the draft. Along with the draft the 49ers have a visit scheduled with Charles Woodson and also LaRon Landry is scheduled to visit, unless he signs a deal with the Colts today.
