49ers showing interest in Josh Cribbs
NFL.com’s Aditi Kinkhabwala is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are unlikely to meet the asking price of WR/KR Joshua Cribbs. The asking price is roughly $1.8 to $2 million a year for the eight-year veteran.
Kinkhabwala is reporting that the 49ers are showing interest in Cribbs. If the 49ers do in fact make a run at Cribbs would be the replacement for Ted Ginn Jr, who is not expected to re-sign with the 49ers.
Cribbs’ agent, J.R. Rickert, is supposed to meet with Browns at the NFL Scouting Combine to discuss resigning Cribbs to a new contract.
