Justin Smith has partially torn triceps
Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee was the first one to report that according to a source, Justin Smith has a partial tear of his triceps.
This isn’t good news for 49ers fans. After watching the dismantling on defense against the Seahawks, it is clear that this team really needs Justin Smith. Reports are he will most likely have surgery during the offseason, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play in the post season.
If the 49ers don’t get the bye week, I could see Justin sitting out for Cards and wild card round game and hopefully get him back and see how he does in the NFC Divisional round, which most likely would be against the Packers.
