49ers sign Leonard Davis
The 49ers have signed veteran guard Leonard Davis to a one year deal. Davis visited the 49ers earlier in the offseason, but left without a contract offer.
Davis will come in and compete at the RG position with Alex Boone, Daniel Kilgore and Mike Person. Davis has played for the Cardinals and the Cowboys, where he was a 3 time Pro Bowler.
It will be a battle to watch at the RG position. Davis may not make it out of camp, but he does give the team a veteran presence that the position is lacking.
