Josh Johnson Reunites with Harbaugh on 2-Year Deal

The 49ers signed free agent quarterback Josh Johnson to a two year deal today, a day after locking up Alex Smith to a three year deal. Johnson visited the 49ers today and the Oakland native wasted no time in coming to an agreement.

This signing has been inevitable. It reunites Harbaugh and Johnson, who he coached at University of San Diego.

My guess is that once the season starts the odd man out will be Scott Tolzien. Will be interesting to see if they give Alex Smith the starting job or let him battle it out with Johnson and Colin Kaepernick.
