49ers Get Eight In Probowl


The NFL announced the players selected to the Pro Bowl, the 49ers had a total of 8 players make the team.

Patrick Willis, Joe Staley, Justin Smith, Andy Lee, David Akers, Carlos Rogers are listed as starters.

Frank Gore and Dashon Goldson are listed as reserves.

This is the most the 49ers have sent to the Pro Bowl since they sent 10 in 1995. Also those 8 tie the Patriots for sending the most to Hawaii.

The following 49ers are alternates: Bowman, Brooks, Costanzo, Davis, Ginn, Goodwin, Iupati, McDonald, Miller, Whitner.
