Joshua Morgan Placed on IR

The 49ers placed WR Joshua Morgan on the injured reserve list today, thus ending his season.

Morgan’s numbers before breaking his right ankle were 15 catches for 220 yards and 1 TD. He was developing a nice rapport with Alex Smith. This injury is unfortunate because Morgan was having a really good year.

The 49ers signed WR Brett Swain to a one year deal to fill in for the injured Morgan.
