Nate Davis to be Released


Michael Lombardi is reporting that the 49ers are set to release 3rd string QB Nate Davis. The release has been confirmed by Sacramento Bee’s Matt Barrows as well. This is an interesting release as it looked like Davis was safe when the 53 man roster was set. This can only mean one thing, there is a QB out there that has been released by another team that the 49ers are targeting or they may have another player in mind they might trade for.
