Nate Davis to get More Reps


Jimmy Raye is on record saying this week that Davis will get reps earlier in the next two preseason games, in order to see what he can do against a higher caliber of player.

Against the Colts on Sunday, Davis completed five of six passes for 84 yards, good for a passer rating of 118.8. In the 2009 preseason, Davis completed 29 of 49 passes for 314 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, which equated to a passer rating of 83.2.

So may David Carr be pushed down to third string is Nate has a strong showing over the next two games?
