Douchetree’s Agent Blaming Douchetree for Holdout

Do You Believe This Man?

Pro Football Talk is reporting that Eugene Parker, Michael Crabtree’s agent, is blaming the holdout on Crabtree. Here is what PFT had to say.

A league source tells us that there has been “no contact” between the Niners and Eugene Parker, the agent for receiver Michael Crabtree.

Meanwhile, we’re hearing that Parker is dealing with the Crabtree conundrum on the recruiting trail by blaming the holdout on the player. Parker, we’re told, is pointing to the deal he negotiated for defensive end Tyson Jackson at the third overall slot as proof that Parker is willing and able to negotiate a fair deal for a first-round pick.

Also Matt Maiocco mentioned that Parker told the 49ers that there offer was “fair.”

The Pundit of 49ersNews. I do what I can to supply the Niner fans with their fix.

Of course he’s blaming it all on Crabtree. He doesn’t want to be viewed as unreasonable or unwilling to negotiate a contract for his client that is fair and commensurate with the slot he was drafted in.

If Crabs is truly driving the bus here then I wonder how long it will be before he fires Parker and hires Rosenhaus.

but James he got Jackson signed…I agree I don’t believe anything coming out of either ones mouth.

Why can’t you guys believe two honest gents like this??? Its all he said, douche said. More than likely Douchetree will sign at the beginning of the regular season or actually be as dumb as he sounds and enters next years draft and realize that he has killed his career…

I love it. The idea that a $20 Mil. BASE/$26.5 MAX/$16 Mil. up fron isn't enough is COMPLETELY understandible.

I understand that a person in a capitalist society can choose to make the most out of his or her opportunities.

I understand that in order to provide for your family you have to make $25,000 Per game (minimum).

I understand how much Crabtree wants to make more than $441,666 per game because I would too.

I understand that he's putting his personal health and safety in harms way – and by holding out, he's simply ensuring his longevity in the league!

    But.

I'm 24. I'm in Active Duty Military. Yes. It was a personal choice. It's the career choice I made on my own. What I make PER YEAR is trumped by what some of these young dumb and stupid athlete make in ONE week. We put ourselves into harms way as well, except instead of Ed Reed and Brian Dawkins, we get Al-Salami and IED's (the kind you don't see coming).

Again, it's a choice. If it was about the money, I would have gone to law school, knocked-up a politician's daughter and been on my way up the cock-meat ladder. Instead, we fight to protect people like this guy who spits on $26 mil over 5 years, w/ $16 mil guaranteed? Laughable. I hope someone reminds him of that.

At the end of the day, we're all fans. Athletes come and go but the organization will outlast lifetimes.

you I'm enlisted in the USAF. You know what we make?

    FUCK THE RAIDERS!!!

  • Niner Raider gal

Awwww, now don't hold against the Raiders what this idiot is choosing to do…and idiot he is. Arrogant and obviously greedy…why would anyone expect as the 10th rounder, to get more than the 7th rounder?? Because they bought in way too much into their own press and now could end up with little to nothing. Well then that's what he deserves if he is so stupid to take a gift like an NFL contract so lightly. Let his sad sap butt work at McDonald's for all I care – once upon a time I was a Crab fan…not any more…

I am however and will always be a fan of Mas, and his brothers, who serve our country bravely and with honor – for little to no pay! Thank you Mas, for your service!
