A good pass rush will compensate for any DB drop, if any.
When Stubblefield and Young were pounding the middle of O lines, our DBs looked much better!!!

Yeah with a pass rush I think Nate could be elite. I rarely see him get beat immediately off the line, it is usually after the QB has had all day that Nate gets lost.

I agree…don’t think there is that much of a fall off between Harris and Bly or even Harris and Brown for that matter. Hopefully they finally can get a decent pass rush which should help Nate and Co.

Walt Harris to Dre’ Bly is a step down? If it is I dont think its by much. I do agree to the fact that as much money Clements makes, he should be one of the elite corners in the NFL which he isnt. Great at stopping the run but not so great at covering speedy receivers. Anybody else went to Family Day? Singletary’s speech was very inspiring and Gary Plumbers Football 101 clinics were entertaining.

Once the season begans do not allow any new 49er fans to claim our team. If they were not with us through the tuff times tell them to kiss your ass! I hate new fans once we start doing good or people whom follow individual players! We have our O-Line looking good in camp, a new reciever, a great running back, a potential Young and Montana (Smith and Hill) three hella good tight ends a better fullback a back up running back (Hicks, Robinson and Coffee) We have a defense of line with lots of potential, great linebacker crew (Patrick Willis) Lets pray on our cornerbacks and safety position in which; they will improve, Nate Clemens should play strong safety. Can you say 12-4 or better.

The 49ers defense and offense is in the correct shape it has ever been not only do we have a knew head coach but an offense of cordinator running the WestCoast Offense with the right tools. We will be the shit next season. Cowboy fans are already hating!!!
