Dirty Sanchez to Visit Next Week

sanchezMatthew Barrows is reporting that the 49ers will get a visit from USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

Many draft “experts” have predicted the 49ers — who have no clear starter at QB — will select Sanchez at No. 10. Nowadays, however, it seems like Sanchez might not last that long. The Jacksonville Jaguars, owners of the eighth overall pick, had dinner with Sanchez Tuesday night in L.A. (Jack Del Rio is a former Trojan) and Sanchez’s workout today was reportedly better than the one Georgia QB Matthew Stafford, heretofore the presumed No. 1 pick, had last month in Athens, Ga.

USC Linebacker Rey Maulaluga told Sirius NFL Radio hosts Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan today that the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins have shown the most interest in him up to this point, and the San Diego Chargers are bringing him in for a private visit.

could this be another option for us possibly..
While I’d like to go in another direction.. I’d even be happier going with a RB like Moreno over Rey.. Nothing against him but another ILB is not what we need.. Spikes is back and he filled in very very nicely last year had a nice season for us.. If we aren’t filling a need with the pick i’d rather get a better player at a more needed position.. If we are going to pound the ball.. need a better back up.. while this draft is deep in RB. could have a very nice tandem.. however I do not think this may be best option for us.. but id take it over Rey from USC..

Everyone is saying Sanchez had a good pro day.. maybe this is a smokescreen for us just in case he is on the board when we pick.. to possibly trade back .. pick up some extra picks in the draft.. Jets may be interested.. Tampa Bay maybe…. hey even the bronco’s now with cutler out to chicago.. and Orton isn’t exactly the best QB out there… Although he did play a wide open offense with a lot of shotgun in college so McDaniels patriots system may be good for him who knows..
I don’t want a qb with our first choice though.. I don’t even care if Stafford is there..

” I’ve been lucky enough to be around Brett Favre and Matt Hasselbeck, and I’ve learned that leadership is very important.” ~ Scot McClueless

Yea Scot leadership is VERY IMPORTANT. So why the fuck are you so in love with Alex Smith? Oh I get it, you love it when he lowers his head at every fucked up throw he makes. Yea and the guys in the locker room cant wait for this bust to lead them to glory right? Fucking Joke!

I gotta agree with Joe Gomez on this one… Alex Smith is a bust.period.

Personally I think Singletary needs to give the Niners offense to Shaun Hill. When he knows, for sure the job is his 100%, no more competitions, he will play even better than he already has the past couple seasons when given the opportunity.

Why bring in another QB 1st round?… We already did that and look what we got stuck with, at the time he was the 50 Million dollar? nightmare.

If we cant get a QB thats already proven in the NFL, its better to use that 1st round pick on something we really need, like a big time wide receiver.
