Could Brown be the back McCloughan is looking for?


Pro Football Talk is reporting that NC State runningback Andre Brown is set to visit the 49ers. Along with the 49ers Brown is also set to visit the Chargers, Titans, Texans, Patriots and Jaguars.

Brown says he’s hearing that he could go in the second or third round after impressing in the Senior Bowl and at the Combine. At 6′0/224, Brown ran an outstanding hand-timed 4.37 and an official 4.47 at the Combine.
