According to Adam Schefter: after weeks of looking, the San Francisco 49ers finally found their man. They hired Jimmy Raye as their offensive coordinator, league sources said Wednesday night.
Yipee! Hoo-ray! Unf’inbelievable. This is the best they can do. Jimmy F’in Raye. You got to be shitting me. At this point not only does the Martz firing look horrible, but the hiring of Singletary looks like it might have been the wrong move. I sit here and think if they would have not hired Mike so quick, they could have had a shot at Gruden or Shanahan. But hey at least we got Jimmy Raye, who by the way as OC has a 12 season average of 6 wins 10 losses at 18.7 points a game.
Also for anyone reading this, save the let’s give Mike and Jimmy a chance. This is a horrible hire.
