Beasts & Bitches: 49ers @ Hawks
I was given permission to start a new section titled ‘Beasts and Bitches.’ What we’ll do is each week list the Beasts and Bitches from gameday. We’ll start off this week with the 49ers win over the Seahawks.
Beasts
- JT O’Sullivan: Or should we say O’wesome. JT gets the beast label after finishing the day with over 300 yards and 1 touchdown. All of this after getting sacked 8 times.
- Patrick Willis: Patty Boy will probably be on this list every week. He makes it this week for his record breaking 86 yard interception for a touchdown.
- Isaac Bruce: Old Man Ike makes the list for his 153 yards receiving and out running corners 14 years younger.
- The Whiteboard: Not sure what the whiteboard is, well after a 49er timeout the Fox cameras panned over to Nolan running with his whiteboard. Not long after the whiteboard made an appearance the 49ers team turned it up a notch.
- Manny Lawson: ManLaw gets the nod for a nice punt block and the most importance play of the day, calling Tails.
- Mike Martz: For finally giving us an offensive scheme that we can enjoy watching.
- Barry Sims: You might be surprised Sims makes this list. Well the only reason he made it is because he name is not Jennings.
Bitches
Mr. GlassJonas Jennings: Not long after getting called for three penalties, Jennings hurts his shoulder and doesn’t return.- Defensive Line: They gave up 160 something yards rushing and 127 of that to Julius Jones. Oh and they recorded no sacks, and not really any pressure.
- Offensive Line: Eight sacks allowed. Need I say more?
- Special Teams: Not often a team gets a punted block only to turn it into a first down. Rossum displaying his best Maurice Hicks jump. Nedney kicking out of bounds and missing a FG, and Brian Jennings turning a punt downed at the one into a touchback.
