Roman Sidelined with Elbow Injury

Starting free safety Mark Roman underwent an arthroscopic procedure approximately 10 days ago to clean up his right shoulder, a team spokesman said. He will likely be limited during the first week of organized team activities on June 2, 3, 5 and 6.

Roman should be available to resume full activity for the final two weeks of OTAs. Second-year player Dashon Goldson will likely take the bulk of the first-team repetitions with Roman limited.

Love your website (read it regularly). Just a suggestion–put quotes around what you are quoting from Matt’s blog. Even though you cite his post, it’s still not kosher to simply pull somebody else’s text into your work, because then the reader can’t tell what you’re writing and what you’re quoting. The post above is ALL Matt’s work, so it should all be quoted.

Matt’s a cool guy and all, but I don’t want to see you get a cease and desist letter from the legal beagles at the Press Democrat.

Goldson has got the killer instinct. I been wanting to see him in a starting role for a while now. Roman will probably be the starter at the start of the season, knowing Nolan. At least Goldson will see some time with the first team during OTA's. I guess that something is better than nothing.

yessss!!!! Dashon Goldson a full time starter now wooh woo.

  • Dude, are you high? He cites the source at the bottom and puts the writing in italics, which is something that is commonly done by periodicals. Niner Pundit, you did all of the punctuation and citing that you really needed to. I highly doubt Matt will even think twice about this at all.

i was hoping keith lewis would get some more reps.. even though we wasnt all that great on coverage, he can jack recievers up pretty bad like ronnie lott.

Is Roman really even that good?

I think Goldson has a really good chance at a starting position this year. He really impressed people at the minicamp, and with a solid training camp I think the job could be his. Nolan likes the guys he drafts.

I think Dashon Goldson is what we need at SF! At 6’2 ,208 pounds you just cant go wrong and he is much younger than Mark Roman. The thing I hate about Nolan is that he never let the players that he drafted develop into good players. He don’t give them a chance to. I would like to have CB T.Brown over Strickland any time. Strickland sucks and just because have got that “lucky” play when he stripped the ball out of B.Johnson hand in the endzone don’t mean crap. He still got burned for like 100+ yards and he’s not fast at all.
