Niners hired Nolan January 15, 2005 (Washington Post) so that gives this loser almost 3 1/2 years of rebuilding now. Let me ask you this... how many more losing seasons are you all willing to put up with? I say if we have another fucked up losing season than his head should roll along with Mcloughan. Same with Alex Smith...if this guy doesn't produce this year he needs to go too. Thats why this league is the NFL which stands for "NOT FOR LONG!"

gomez... chill out homie, just try to relax... Do you really think that all our problems would be gone on Offense if we would have drafted jackson?? Look, I'm a 9ers fan just as much as you are, i dont like to see my team in the stage they are in also, but you have to know that it takes time to be back on top! There are many teams out there that havent even gone to the SB, and they still are working on it... I think Nolan is doing the right thing (hate him or not). Its easy for us as fans to say that he is not doing a good job so fire this guy, but its not easy to win in the NFL!! This game is 90% mental and 10% skill, and i think nolan is bringing in the right players, so just give it time, and see what happens..

Joe Gomez is right. Steve Smith and Marvin Harrison are very similar to Desean Jackson and both players are most valuable for their teams. I want a tall WR that stands 6'5-6"7 but it doesnt have to be in the 3rd round. Hell lets take a QB in the 3rd i just dont wanna see anymore linemen for gods sake. I want a Marques Colston on our team but since Nolan isnt a offensive mentality coach he doesnt understand that his young QB Alex has a tendency of overthrowing receivers because we have midgets for receivers and old farts that are guaranteed starting time as FA's. A smart coach wouldve got some decent lineman on FA and trades and gotten young tuff WR, CB, S, and or QB and some 3rd or 4th round linemen. Im not saying were gonna suck next year but we need to stop signing depth and getting playmakers.

Oh thats right.. almost forgot that we gave up our original first rounder for...joe staley! We are "over drafting" trench players. No skill players=Another long season for Niner fans.

redngold.. hey i thought thats why we drafted Baas and Snyder? Look at all the D-lineman we drafted last few years. Im tired making the same fucken picks year after year under McNolan. Look at all the busts they drafted on the D-line! If they wouldnt had made their mistakes the last few years we wouldnt be wasting another first and second rounders on trench players. damn it we need skill players right now! of all the receivers who are left whos to say they are gone before we pick tomorrow? whos to say they dont pick a receiver? the way its going we might pick another trench player to rotate with all the other linemens. steve young is right when he said that mcnolan is trying to make us the ravens of the west coast. what are we going to scare defenses with? Battle, Lelie, Hill, Bruce? Give me a break.. weve been rebuilding ever since this idiot Nolan and the Mac man came on board. they shouldve got their trench players years ago but they keep missing on draft day so we never get the chance to pick a stud play maker, a game breaker, a take it to the house player. shit arent you guys tired of this Nolan era or is just me? this guy is a fucken loser. if we dont do shit by the eighth game i say fire the guy along with the sorry GM. Weve been in a 7 year funk and i dont know about you but this shit is gettin' old!

Dan the man..i guess you havent heard of a game breaking WR who is considered "small" for the NFL..his name is Steve Smith who stands barely 5'8" 1/2 and about 175lbs. What im trying to say is size dont mean shit if you dont have heart. If you can play football than you can play football. Desean Jackson can play. Hes an upgrade from Arnaz Battle and Lelie..thats a fact.

gomez.. do you know why we had the worst offense last year?? we had no O-line!! LOOK, I think Steve Smith is the best wr out there hands down, but did he do anything last year, but cry? And why was that? Because they had no O-line!! This is the NFL, and ONE player doesnt win a game (specially a wr), it takes a whole team. This is not the NBA, one player cant take over... Like los banos jerry said, there are still good wr's out there, so just chill out and see what happens

Jackson won't last. He wieghs 169 pounds. Oh wait, I'm sorry 174. There are very, very few players in the league that wiegh below 180 pounds, most who are kickers, and none of them are in the pro bowl. So lets stop crying about not picking Jackson.

Los Banos Jerry...your the one who needs to wake up and smell the coffee buddy.. i am so sick of picking average fucken receivers..since t.o. left we havent had shit!.. i have watched and studied jackson closely, he is a game breaker and for a 2nd round pick it wouldve been a fucken steal! We had the worst offense in the NFL last year so i think you pick the best offensive weapon before you pick a "need" player like a DE or a T. Most people were saying jackson wouldve been gone by the time we picked at #29 and he was there for the taking in the 2nd round!. forget pickin'these average receivers i want a game breaker. JR didnt say jackson was "special" just cause he works for eddie d's company. thats retarded...JR has all the money in the world he doesnt need to advertise or market for anyone. When you see Desean Jackson's highlights this year, mark my words, your going to wish we took him when we had the chance. We couldve gotten a decent Tackle or DE on sunday, you cant pass up talent when it is available for you to take. Ill pick talent over need any day.

ninaz you want a WR 6'5" or 6'7" in the 3rd. and your upset that we
didn't get Desean Jackson who's 5' nothing. There are plenty of WR
still on the board that will have more productive and longer careers
than Jackson or Kelly.

Joe Gomez do you want to buy some ocean front property in Kansas?
Just because JR was pimping Jackson doesn't mean shit. except he's
got a fatter checking account. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Doucet, Caldwell, Franklin, Douglas, Bess, Hawkins, Manningham are
still available WR

Collins, Hills, Greco, Nicks, Sullivan, Schnuenig are still Available OL

Avril, Conner, Crable, Bell, Adibi, Highsmith, Henderson are available LB

chill the 9ers are having a great draft. Just because a college player was the man in all of these wide open offenses doesn't mean shit when they get to the pros.
