Dont get me wrong Connor is a tackiling machine but he not great at pass rushing and we already have a tackiling machine in willis...i think we could get a good ilb in the later rounds instead of investing another 1st round pick into one...id rather have us look at FS,WR,OT,DE/OLB which are all bigger needs in round 1. We lost D Smith, M Douglas, and B Young retired. Adding one free agent. And hoping last years 3rd and 4th round draft picks are gonna pick up the slack is a little optimistic. Are D line was horrible last year, and gonna be weaker this year. Picking 29th the top OL are gonna be gone. Thank God we can still get starter talent late in the 2nd or early 3rd. Conner could play the Ted Backer. Another huge upgrade. Our Ted backers are all special team stand outs but not close to pro-bowl talent. if we sign spikes that will help.
