Mr. Glass Must Have Sand in His Vagina

Mar 18, 2008 17 Comments by Niner Pundit

Matthew Barrows is reporting via the blonde chick over at .com that Isaac Bruce, Walt Harris and Jonas Jennings are not expected to take part in the majority of the team’s offseason program. No one is second guessing Bruce and Harris missing the offseason program since both are old and have been to Pro Bowls. Pretty much earned the right to work out on their own.

Jennings on the other hand should be there. Maybe if he attended the offseason program he wouldn’t go down with a hangnail for 4 weeks.

Nolan and Co. say Jennings will compete with Staley for the starting left tackle gig, but we all know they are just saying that so they don’t hurt Jonas’ feelings. Because we all know if Jennings knew the truth he would end up on IR with hurt feelings.

Jennings is a pussy. I’ll bet he’s not a 49er by the time the season starts. He’s been the biggest ripoff in the history of ripoffs. Taking time off in the middle of the season last year for no apparent (or justifiable) reason is inexcusable, especially when he’s still cashing all those inflated paychecks. The guy’s a thief.

  2. Los Banos Jerry says:

We don’t want Jennings at the off season work outs, he’ll just get
hurt. We need him to stay healthy, so we can dump him at the June 1
cut back. Save more money on the salary cap, if we dump him June 1.

  3. Forensics187 says:

Damn, sounds like we are only gonna take O linemen this draft…

I HATE THAT JENNINGS pulls this crap. What ever happened to heart with this guy? Does he even have a pair between his legs? I don’t want to say we should cut him, but DAMN….he really isn’t giving us any indication that he isn’t the same ole softy that he was last year. The time for him to man up has come and gone…..this is just adding insult to injury (no pun intended). IF he is going to take another dive (like the balless, spineless, heartless piece of crap he is) then we might be better off cutting him so we can have someone on the squad that isn’t a grade A+ contract milking softy. IF he were to be healthy this year he would definitely make a great right tackle, but if he can’t be relied upon to deliver the skills that his contract is paying him for then hit the road PUSSY!!!

By the way, Niner Pundit, thank you for not showing posts of DJAX being cut forever and Bryant Johnson being signed as the latest niner news……those other sites like http://www.49erswebzone.com are STILL talking about Bryant Johnson…..didn’t he agree to the terms last Thursday or Friday? Let it go!!! Thank you for keeping things fresh around here.

Heres how i see the draft several things can go different ways and no one is locked for us and this draft could go so bad for us that we may have to draft a RT such as Carl Nicks in round 1 OR it could go as good as a Martz type of receiver falling to us…from these 3 players one will be a niner..Brandon Albert OG Virginia, Desean Jackson WR CAL, Quentin Groves DE Auburn…and word is Groves may not get past the Jags…we very well may just trade our 1st rounder away if things dont fall into place

Wait, who’s going to be starting RT ?

  8. Rob says:

The website linked said that Jennings is attending to a “personal matter” at his home in Georgia. Isn’t that what they said when he missed that game this past year? Well, I don’t know what his personal issue is, but I just hope he can be reliable come the regular season. I’m not as against Jennings as much as most seem to be around here, but I’m starting to think SF overspent on him and could do better. Oh, well. So much for finally getting a receiver in the first round…

  9. bo says:

It might be that McNolans has told JJ he is not welcome as he is expected to be traded at the draft in april. I would not be surprise to see us pick a RT within the top 40 and thereafter off load JJ to for a 4. or 5. round pick (or what ever we can get).

  10. Ryan the 1st says:

If Jennings gets cut you can count on a right tackle with our first pick. Kiper says we are going to get Cherilius from BC. I think it would be a good move because unless we get Sweed or Kelly they are going to start Bruce, Johnson, and Battle. If we get a small slot receiver in the first round then maybe they bump Battle…..otherwise count our receiver core being Bruce, Battle, Johnson, and Lelie. Experience is where they are going to go. I really think that we are going O line with the first pick and if we cut Jennings we might grab an additional one with the 2nd pick. Lots of “experts” say that there is real value in the third round, but I don’t see why we would start someone that we draft THIS YEAR in the 3rd over Jason Hill.

  11. Indiana Jim says:

Kinda makes people look differently at Alex Smith, manning up and playing WITH HIS ARM DANGLING AT HIS SIDE for three games.

    Doesn’t it.

  12. Chalden says:

Any chance the 49ers go after Chad Johnson? I just saw him on NFL network. He wants out of Cinnci bad!

  13. redandgold says:

we dont need chad, believe me were gonna do good without him, and fuck jennings!!

Lets go 9ers!!! Red and Gold aaallll dddaaayyy!!!

  14. P-WILLIS_69 says:

Im cool with Desean Jackosn and/or Groves being a Niner.

  15. P-WILLIS_69 says:

I would also like to see Laws holding up a niners jersey on draft day.

  16. Ryan the 1st says:

The draft doesn’t matter until at least three more weeks. The stocks will go up and down just like every year. Whatever we talk about will mean nothing until about a week or so before the draft. I was watching ESPN news today and John Clayton did a 15 second stint about the niners and how he expects the niners starting WR core to be Bruce, Battle, and Johnson. Furthermore, he expected Bruce and Johnson to line up on one side and get Battle isolated on the other……interesting.

  17. AXEGRINDER says:

…that will mean Battle will see alot of single coverage. That is interesting, especially since Battle is more of a possession-type receiver, more so than Bruce or Johnson anyway. And then throw Lelie occasionally on the outside to draw the safeties off will help tremendously. None of that means anything if the qb’s can’t get the ball downfield, though. We shall see…….
