   Great guy. I’m glad Rome didn’t try to piss him off, but how could you be an ass to Willis? Very glad to have him on the team. We better lock him up for his career when the time comes to do so and not let him go like every other good player we’ve had in the last 6-8 years.

   Willis is a class act.

   As for missing JP. What a LB core the 49ers would have with Willis, Lawson, JP and Moore! With the rumors of potentially getting Briggs, no question the best and most feared. Just try to rush for over 50 yards. Just with JP there would have been 5-8 more sacks and excellent TE coverage.

   willis could possibly become the greatest niner of all time or def right up there with rice and montana and others. not just for his play which speaks for itself, but you can tell hes a great person. i hope he nevers plays in another uniform for his whole career

   I believe JP was franchised for one season which prevented us from doing it the following season. Darn it.

    If I remember right JP wanted right up there with Ray Lewis, after a down year. I’ve been watching since he was at Michigan State, I’m from East Lansing, but asking for Ray Lewis type money after a down year and then signing with division rivals, I think he just wanted out of San Fran because he was pissed about being franchised, like Lance Briggs is this year.

    Juilian Peterson is a selfish person the Niners sucked it up for a couple of years when he was hurt and then when he got better he got the hell out of here. Forget Peterson Willis seems much faster than him anyway. Hopefully we get rid of Derek Smith this year i swear he is holding this defense down.

    did anyone watch around the horn yesterday?They were saying Martz was a bad Move and that he’s washed up.Not to worried about it though these so called “experts” didnt mention anything about Gore being used as the centerpiece.

    A lot of “you know” and “umms” but he is a great guy and is new to interviewing. It doesn’t matter though, he does the talking on the field and he will have more interviews in the future.
