Chad Johnson was sleep-walking through a conference call this morning, until he started talking about 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis. Then, he showed a very colorful vocabulary to describe the outstanding rookie.
Johnson was going along answer our mundane questions . . . “I can only focus on what I do” . . . “You have to continue to play at a high level” . . .
And then he was asked about what he saw when watching the 49ers’ defense on film.
“Who in the (expletive) is 52? Oh, my (expletive) God,” Johnson said. “I’ve seen a lot of linebackers and that (expletive-expletive) is good. He is the real deal. He’s playing with a cast, and I started calling him ‘Bam-Bam.’ He is the truth. When you see him, tell in that 85 says he’s the truth.

It is not that bad getting a late round pick, look at this, we got Smith with THE FIRST pick(not so hot if you ask me), we got Gore in THE THIRD(he is as solid as can be). It all depends on Nolan’s eye for talent. If I give Nolan anything, it’s the fact that he does draft fairly well in my opinon.

If the Patriots win the Superbowl (32nd overall) and we continue losing (2nd pick overall)
That means our second round pick becomes the 33rd pick overall, technically being the “FIRST” pick of a second round.
Therefore, we get the Colts pick in the first round (High 20′) and a “First-pick” in the second round.
With proper choosing, A lot of quality first-round talent could slip to us with BOTH picks – at a cheaper price.
It’s not all bad, with the exception of this ENTIRE season ofcourse

Yeah, I heard that the owners of Cysco were supposed to be interested. I can’t remember where I got that from, but I could have sworn that the bee was reporting that a while ago. I don’t think the York’s know what they are doing. Damn, were is Carmen Policy when I need him. We need someone who is willing to pay people and pay winners. This is getting ridiculous. Bring in Holmgren, The Chin, and Grimm….then life will improve for the niners. I agree with Big M, however, the Yorks need to sell the team because they just aren’t getting it done and they aren’t willing to make any moves that move this franchise forward.
