I wish he performed better, but based on what I am seeing from the receivers and the o line I can't put all of the blame on him. In fact, I wouldn't even give him close to the majority of the blame. If Colt Brennan is available in the second round then I wouldn't mind if we got him because whether Alex Smith is with us or not after next season doesn't matter if he isn't going to perform. However, there IS still the chance that he blows up (that is IF the niner organization ever comes out of retard stage) because we ACTUALLY GIVE HIM SOMEONE TO THROW TO BESIDES VERNON DAVIS!!! Here is a message to Nolan, York, and Hostler....there is a reason that they stack the box and double Vernon Davis........it is because EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THEY ARE OUR ONLY LEGITIMATE THREATS ON OFFENSE!!!
