I agree JG. Niners fans on the innernets are retarded. How many F’N coaches will we have to go through till they (coaches) dont take the blame. Our team is void of a real QB, a leader and a decent passer which is what it takes to make a QB that plus average size hands unlike Alex Smith.
Unfortunately we just jumped the gun on Smith, obviously the Niners have problems nowadays picking QB’s. The friggin bachleor was on our roster for christ sakes and now this overpaid never proving himself piece of trash smith is on our team not to mention the over the hill Dilfer.
We need some things on this team and its not a new coaching staff but a couple new players including a couple real QB’s.

It was the quarterbacks fault. The game was actually really close at one point. (17-14)The turnovers killed us. I can understand two interceptions, but 4 is ridiculous, even for Dilfer. Our momentum died when he fumbled the punt return.

Chris, shut the fuck up! The reason why Niner Pundit, Ryan the First and others are gripping is because we have pride in the 49ers! The 49ers this year are UNDERACHIEVEING BIG TIME! I would rather have the Dolphins team because they have a legit excuse…they have no talent. A team that has talent and fails (like the Niners) is a worse team…PERIOD! It always starts with Management. This team last year (with less talent) played hard and to their maximum abilities. I do not know what happen this year, but they suck! They have went backwards. If Nolan was a smart coach he would have realized by the 4th or 5th game that Jim Hostler does have it and should have replaced him quick. Starts with management…remember. How many touches did Gore have….? About 12 right! Did they not Win last week giving it to Gore?

Ok, seriously, what the heck happened to the ” good ” play calling ? 12 touches for Gore ? yeah, that’ll get it done ! STUPID PLAYCALLING !! How could they consistently feed the ball to Gore last week, get a win, and then decide to abandon that this week ?? That right there says we have NO O.C. Nolan needs to be canned just for the hiring of Hostler, and for the trade for D-Jack, who can’t seem to catch ANYTHING ! This guy is useless. As far as our QB situation, trust me, with the right OC (which we had last year) Smith will be fine. Once they figure out how to get the ball to Davis and Gore, we will be ok. Think if Jackson caught even HALF the drops. So many lost 1st downs. Get another good WR. Again today, our defense was out there waaaaay too long. I knew the game was over when Lewis muffed the punt. We had all the momentum until that. I would just like to see some positives going into the off season, but with this playcaling, that is not gonna happen much. On the plus, another killer game from Willis ! This guy is a machine. We will get Holmgren as GM next year. He will hire a good HC who in turn will hire a real OC. Leave the D alone for next season. Well maybe another good OLB. Let’s just pretend this whole season never happened.

Nolan sucks because he has the team soooo unprepared each week it’s not even funny. And Hostler’s offensive scheme speaks for itself. Oh yeah, and our Quarterback position sucks too. If I was Vernon Davis or Gore, I would ask for a damn trade.

But what about the other much talked about rookie LB David Harris from Michigan. He’s playing like a man on fire with 91 tackles on teh season and has appeared in 12 games, but started only 5.
Makes you wonder where his totals would be if he’d started all 12 games like P. Willis.
Nolan was kissing Dilfer’s ass last week and threw Alex under the bus in the process. I think the way he has handled Alex’s injury is going to cost him his job.
This team could use david Garrard or Jeff Garcia (again).They are qb’s that don’t throw 4 int’s a game!In fact They rarely throw any ints at all! None in Garrards case.

If we all went to work and gave he kind of performance that Nolan gives every week we’d all be starving and on the street. This guy in no way deserves to keep his job. Unfortunately, I think we’ll have to look forward to this incompetence next year too. The Warriors are the Bay Area’s only salvation for the foreseeable future. Everyone else just plain stinks. I just watched the Warriors rip the Sonics a new one, so at least today wasn’t a total bum trip.

You know… this is a different perspective that nobody talks about, but here is the truth: It doesn’t bother me so much that pro athletes and coaches get paid millions of dollars, but it bothers me when they get paid millions of dollars and fail to do their job. Meanwhile, the fans overpay for merchandise and tickets, not to mention the frustrations we’ve all endured watching a team we probably all bragged about this offseason just tank. I have supported Nolan this whole time, but this year was his year to show what he was about, and he convinced everybody coming into the season that we would be doing big things. I think we all feel lied to and I can’t see how the players can believe him anymore. I wouldn’t blame Alex Smith if he went ahead and got surgery and salvaged his career, and us much as I hate to say it, it may be with a different team after next year if Nolan sticks around.
On another note, I’d like to see if we can start a “Hire Russ Grimm” campaign… everybody think about it. It would be a great fit.

12 carries for frank gore is uncalled for. trent dilfer doesnt suck, hes just old as fuck, he should just retire and do himself, his family, and the 49ers organization a favor. im not to sure on how alex smith gets brought up this week but im not to sure about him but i deffinitley dont want to give up on him yet. hes never had a great receiver. darrel jackson blows and arnaz battle was a qb in college, i mean come one, althought i do like arnaz battle as a #2 receiver. i would like to give it up to patrick willis with another 18 tackles lol, thts just nasty. this offseason we need to require a lot, mayve a big time receiver, not huge but big enough to be a standout #1 receiver, also maybe bring in a nother qb to contest with alex smith, give alex smith something to loose. also we need a fuckin playmaker on our d-line, i love bryant young but lets be honest hes jsut as old as dilfer. im not gonna give up on nolan either but how ever we need someone else callin the plays other than hostler, we should be running 20-25 times a game with gore no question. well i believe i got my point across.

Billy… I am almost positive Garrett is going to wait to become the Cowboys’ head coach. When do you ever see a team hire an OC before they hire the HC? He’s still pretty young too, and I’m not sure he has the experience to be a head coach right now. He also has some pretty nice players to work with in Dallas. I like Russ Grimm because he is a great line coach, and he comes from Pittsburgh, and our team is close to resembling that type of team structure. He was a great player in this league and should demand a lot of respect, and I know he has been around long enough to know the ins and outs of coaching in the NFL.
