I was reading Maiocco’s blog and reports are that Frank Gore is listed as questionable Sunday against the Falcons. Gore said he’d be good to go, but Nolan said he’d evaluate Gore during warmups and if he doesn’t feel Frank is ready to play, Nolan said that Maurice Hicks would be the running back used primarily on first and second downs, and Michael Robinson would be the third-down back.
Are you shitting me. Mr. Fumble, Mr. 30-yard line, Mr. Hop, Skip and a Jump would get the start over Robinson.
Next thing you’ll tell me is that Derek Smith will start over Brandon Moore, Jonas Jennings will start over Adam Snyder, Justin Smiley will start over David Baas, Jim Hostler will stay on as OC, or that Ashley Lelie will see very limited playing until the DC of the Ravens said they would have double teamed him if he played…..oh wait.
That’s it I’m convinced Nolan has no damn clue what he is doing.

back to you niner-pundit… we’re 2-1 in the division and our qb has been hurt. this is our first season with all around talent (on both sides of the ball) and we’ve had a few hiccups. let this team straighten itself out. you and everyones negative post in here are getting f-n old. you all trash the team and you make general negative post that make no sense. Lowrance is obviously watching the game and i havent heard him calling for the firing squad. Nolan has had about 4-5 games with quality talent and minimal injuries. we’ve gotten two wins and hopefully one more today. so i say shut the fuck up to you and all the other crybaby fans who dont know jack shit about our team. realize nolan has made improvments and give it some time to work out.

gee-ray…I’ve been watching all season and Nolan is clueless. Sits Lelie until the Ravens DC says he’d double team him. Justin Smiley and Jennings still line up when the o-line looked the best when they weren’t playing. This team has more talent than last years but is regressing. That to me is on the coaches. They have an incompetent OC and instead of trying someone else, Nolan sticks with him. And after they lose on MNF to the Seahawks they’ll be 2-7. And not only that but they’ll get another top 5 pick, but that goes to the Pats. Staley is good but not worth a top 5. Also how many of Nolan’s draft picks have panned out. So far Willis and he lucked out on Gore.
