Nolan vs Smith: Round 1

Seems after Smith’s comments to the media yesterday regarding him playing injured has struck a nerve with head coach Mike Nolan. Here is what Nolan had to say after hearing Smith’s comments from the media.
“I think that it would be a good idea if he said that to me before he said that (to the media),” Nolan said about Smith’s comments that there is lingering discomfort in his shoulder and forearm.
“I know this, everybody’s sore. I’m sore . . . has that affected my performance? Maybe, but I’m not going to talk about it. There are a lot other guys who are sore. I’m sure Derek Smith’s eyes are sore. All right?”
Ladies and gentleman. Lets get ready to rumble….okay I know that was lame.

Damn it i couldnt agree more… why is it that we as fans are the only ones who sees that D smith sucks balls!! why is davis blocking, why is gore on the bench?? i 100% agree that he hangs on to “guys he likes” like smith while guys with talent like Lelie sit on the bench.. while hicks spells gore and Robinson doesnt play one snap… im sooo sick of this shit!! and how can u bash A smith for being hurt!!! its obviously affecting him cuz my 10 year old cousin throws a better ball than he does and i REFUSE to believe he is that bad. he WAS NOT missing guys at the beginning of the year the way he is now. Razoreator, thats exactly how I feel as well. Numb…And dude, Shane-O, Alex Smith was missing recievers before his injury. Let’s face it, hes just not a natural quarterback. He’s officially a bust, unfortunately. We all knew he was a risky #1 pick. There needs to be a regime change badly.
How the hell is Nolan sore, maybe cause of all that crying cause of his dad. I think the nolan screwed this team over, just because he came from Baltimore he had to bring some jack ass players like Dilfer who should have retired after his defence won him a superbowl. he needs to stop bringing in players just because they’ve played with him in the past, wtf!

OH great more of the Shit Brigade! I Like Nolan personally, but why has he changed from a year ago. I used to think of him like a Bill Walsh like coach, being that losing was unexceptable, but know he seems like he wants to stay the say stagnent team and not make 49er like changes. The state our team is in now is unexceptable, complete bullshit. this is not the 49er way this is the Yorks way. We need ti fire Hostler immediatly and just call it a day for this season and try to rebuild from this point out, but for pete sake do not put in Dilfer, he’s the reason why we got into this losing streak.
1.We need ne offensive coordinator immediatly the best.
2. We need a new QB veteran or in draft, if we go draft look at colt brennan out of hawaii.
3. We need Big Tall receivers, I would suggest Maurice Purify in the upcoming draft and one more Big Tall veteran receiver. Enough of these short ass arena football receivers, they do not work in the NFL. Look at the problem jackson had gettin to the ball, and gettin seperation from same sized backs. Moss would’nt of had that problem.
4. Keep Gore and Vernon with a good QB they’ll flurish and kick ass.
5. Keep Nolan for one more year and just realizes hell let someone run the offense and he’ll be the manager of the team.
6. Get the 49er attitude back were losing is unexeptable and winning is everthing. The player should eat, shit and breath 49er footbal and winning. The team should do whatever it takes via trade or anything else to win!
I think Alex Smith is just trying to use this as an excuse cause he is doing shitty.
