Adam Snyder will remain the starter at left tackle.

We need to get rid off our whole offensive line and start over again,except for Syder,Staley,Baas at center.And get rid of Jennings,Smiley Harris and draft a real offensive line that can play together in stead of fighting on the side lines.they should let Staley go over to leftside and move Snyder to right side so Staley can go back to his postion he played in collage.But that is just my opinion.

I’m sorry but the 49er Legacy expects to win all the time, not next year, not for a few years, but now. The 49ers always should expect to win. We should want to bring in the best of the best like we once did. The Patriots are doing it now, reminds me of us in the 80’s.

Bring back Antonio Bryant,
and Add Superstar Big tall Got-to guy receiver. I would make a trade for Plaxico burees or someone of his calibur. I would also switch back to the west Coast offense. We need to make the 49ers appealing again.
OR instead of doing every unrealistic suggestion that you just listed, we could fire Nolan and find a real coach.
Eric thats not unrealistic, that can be done, thats creativity. DeBartlo got that shit done all the time. Iknow we have york cheap ass now, but if they want to make an effort this could and would be realistic. What so unrealistic in the offseason to get S. Rosenthauls, get Antonio bryant Back and aquire a Big time receiver in free agency. This can be done easily, if York wants to win. I’t simple continue to be shitty or be creative and aggresive and win! were does the unrealistic come in, are you just pissed because you didn’t come up with the idea yourself. It can be done and should be done ASAP in the offseason. Were passed the trade deadline now I think. This current regiment is a sorry excuse for a 49er team except for Gore, and VD with the righrt QB. Bring in Sage and those prime time receivers once and for all! this is the 49ers not arena football.

i say we blow the roster up keep Smith, Gore, Robinson, Hill, Battle, Davis, Staley, Baas, Snyder, Heitman, Franklin, Sopogoa, Oliver, McDonald, Feilds, Willis, Lawson, Moore, Clements, M & K Lewis, and andy lee and trade/ cut the rest and push as many high draft picks back into 2009

with smith getting one more game under his belt and a new look O-line, (maybe a little Lelie to come) here is what i see possible to end the year…
November 12@ Seattle (this game is possible i know we can beat this team, 3-6)
November 18 vs. St. Louis (come on gotta win this at home, 4-6)
November 25 @ Arizona (another very winnable game!! 5-6)
December 2 @ Carolina (carolina is in disaray and struggling, with some momentum and playing better we take this game in a close one, 6-6)
December 9 vs. Minnesota (the league takes notice to Peterson and Minn cant pass the ball.. we play well at home, 7-6)
December 15 vs. Cincinnati (Cinci is awful this year their D sucks ours is pretty good we take this at home 8-6)
December 23 vs. Tampa Bay (Garcia is too mobile for us and Tampas D is tuff, the magic ends here, 8-7)
December 30 @ Cleveland (we need to win this game so we go out and find a way!! 9-7)
and then we just see where destiny takes us at 9-7

SAGE ROSENTHAULS IS OUR MAN FOR QB AFTER THIS SEASON! What do you think about Matt Casel from New England? I think that he could be a very solid starter. Chad Pennington is sitting the bench; he could be the answer for a couple of years.
Remember how Brees looked his first three or four years? He didn’t look all that great hence the reason Rivers was drafted (then Brees got hurt and they got rid of him) Now look at Brees, SD would have been way better off with Brees. My point is that this is how I see A. Smith. He is going to be really something in a few years, but he is just not ready right now.

according to matt maiccio, Justin Smiley might have season-ending surgery as well as Jennings
Trading for Plaxico Burress is about as unrealistic as it gets. Especially after the year he’s having. We can’t afford to give up what they would want for him. Second of all, Sage Rosenfels has had a few good games but way too early to be touting him as our savior. Third, no way we bring back Bryant. Why don’t you think anybody else has picked him up this year? And last, it all comes back to the coaching in my opinion. We have the talent this year unlike the last 5 years and a 2-6 record is not even close to what I thought we would have at this point. Coaching is the main problem as of now.

ima back eric on this one… No one is ever willing to trade a bonafide superstar unless there is something negative they are getting rid of…with D Jax the seahawks got rid of a pass dropper, in Randy Moss the raiders got rid of an underacheiver and an attitude, in Joe Montana we got rid of age at QB and gave a younger QB a chance, in willis McGahee the bills got rid of an attitude problem and the bengals look to do the same with Chad Johnson…Ocho Cinco would be a locker room cancer for our team especially since our QB isnt consitant…and about Antonio Bryant the league’s looking to suspend him for 1year for substance abuse after his 4 week suspension and bryant is suing the NFL…his career is over

Mike Nolan will never let Lelie be a starter for more than 10 playes.We got him because Nolan though. his name would look cool on our roster.(rofl).And has Jason Hill actually done anything lately.I havent seen any of the games lately?i was surprised to see V.D. actually had 7 catches for 77 yards in the last game.it seemd that V.D. has to get hurt than wait wait for the second half of the season to start catching any passes.this will be the second year in a row for him.
