Sources in the Bay Area tell us Niners assistant head coach/defense Mike Singletary’s name is being mentioned on the talk-radio airways as a possible replacement for head coach Mike Nolan more than a little lately. Singletary is also being linked to the vacant head-coaching job at his alma mater, Baylor University ( this was found at profootballweekly.com under whispers
I hope Singletary goes to Baylor that way we can get Parcells or the chin!

No to Norv as the HC but as the OC and Marty Schottenheimer as the new HC! Both of them have worked together in the past and would make a great team…depending on the price tag.

I’m praying to the football Gods that Andy Reid leaves the Eagles and joins the 49ers. I think he’d be the perfect head coach for the team. Maybe we can get even luckier and bring McNabb with him. Unfortunately, we have the wrong Debartalo running the team, and both John and Jed York are douchebag fuckheads who don’t know shit about football. This franchise is fucked for years to come. Hey Shane I didnt make fun of u for saying Norm Chow. Im just saying why go down that same route again with a guy who has no head coaching experience. I only said Norv Turner because he and Alex Smith had a good realationship and that by making him a head coach no other team can take him away again. If we went down the route of getting a guy that hasnt been a coach before I would rather see us go after Jason Garrett. Shane there are to many things wrong with the 49ers than to get mad at me.
