MMP: Not Rollin’ with Nolan

I was hoping I’d wake up this morning and have a different outlook after yesterdays 6th loss in a row, but unfortunately I’ve still come to the realization that this team sucks. I’m to the point now that if they happen to fire Nolan one of these days, it will have no affect on me what so ever.
- Not yet at rock bottom. (That happens after they lose to the Rams in two weeks)
- Adding injury to insult, Willis breaks hand. (Willis with one hand could beat this 49ers offense)
- Kawakami ranks whose to blame. (Nolan leading at 50%)
- Time-out. Wait…now? (Another part of Nolan’s cluelessness)
- You can relive the steaming pile of crap by reading Maiocco’s play-by-play. (We suggest you don’t)
- Beezer McBeeze over at Bleacher Report says ‘Mike Nolan, You’re Fired.’ (Can’t really disagree)
- Joey Harrington > Alex Smith. (Well at least on Sunday he was)
- Hey Seattle can we have that 4th-round pick back. (Darrell Jackson, you suck)

Agreed on your outlook. I had been backing Nolan and Alex Smith all season, letting the excuses for our poor performance remove them from taking the blame. While these excuses (late OC, injury) still hold weight, I am EXACTLY where you are. It will have little to no effect on me if we fire Nolan and get a new QB in the offseason. That also means if neither of those things happens, I’ll also be okay, as it can be argued both Smith and Nolan deserve another year.
man i dont know what to say anymore. I love the niners and i dont want to turn my back on them but damn man. How much can a person take by being at the bottom of the NFL every year. I;m seeing all these other teams and other players do so much better than ours. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?????? Can someone please answer this for me Please?????Is it time to jump ship? The problem is simple. Nolan is a coordinator, not a head coach. Hostetler is an assistant coach, not a coordinator. Smith is a backup qauterback, not a starting quaterback in the NFL. We are being led by people not capable of carrying out the role they are in.
It’s not about turning your back on them jeremy it’s that you can’t take it anymore and I can’t either I mean we’re already looking towards the offseason and when it comes if he’s not gone by then Mike Nolan needs to go, he would be a hell of a defensive coordinator but he had enough seasons to get it together as coach and look at where we are.
York needs to sell the team to a real owner, at least Mark Cuban will build a winning team because he would spend money even though I don’t like him but he takes care of his team and players,I’m not saying I see cuban as the owner I’m just making a point that York is not a good team owner.
But damn near the whole coaching staff needs to go and as far as Alex Smith goes he needs to go we can’t keep taking up for him and he’s not a rookie anymore, people was happy to see him come back and I was in a way too but he didn’t do no better than Trent Dilfer actually Dilfer did better but he’s a waste of time and money but he was a better first pick than fucking Aaron Rogers.
And last but not least they called the Patriots Colts game Superbowl forty one and a half, remember when we was the attraction like that and now we have been one of the worst teams in the fucking league I WANT BETTER FOR OUR NINERS AND I AM SO FRUSTRATED I CANT EVEN THINK STRAIGHT SO YES PLEASE GOD CAN YOU MAKE IT STOP!
First of all is there any reason that our DBs play 10 yards off on every 3rd and 3, did anyone else notice that.
second i gotta say the play calling this game was better, not great but better, the o-line played WELL minus 2 mistake by Snyder, but i think that has a lot to do with the fact those 2 pieces of crap jennings and smiley are out, so this latest showing of how not tp lay offesnse falls right on the shoulders of Smith and the recievers. Tons of TERRIBLE throws and dropped passes.
I guess i just dont understand how the 100s of ppl that use this site can see how this team can be fixed (BIG recievers, change the O-line, get a pass rush, take out D Smith, Play Leilie, which he didnt play again this week!! am i missing anything) but the coaching staff gettign paid millions cant fix this…
Finally, can anyone answer why a guy that got CUT at the beginning of the year gets more playing time than the guy we paid 2 million to come in and challange to be a starter gets!!! im soooooo sick of this shit!!… oh yea put Hill in there what the fuck do we have to lose!!!!

Enough is enough! Fire Hostler immediatly, this is the 49ers the standard in football. We should of pulled off a blockbuster trade before the deadline we didn’t Damnit.We need to cleasn house and make some blockbuster changes. We need big receivers from here on out. We need to go after Sage Rosenfauls or make a trade for the best quarterback in the NFL. Like I said this is the 49ers we need to act like it. I would try to get a star Quarteback from top NFL Franchise. Iknow you guys will say that will never happen, but if you guys want to get better and stop f****cking around then we need to get a top QB once and for all, because this is a nucleus of a team. Our team is -Unexceptable! We need to hire the best of the best again, sorry Asses not Apply. We need the “DeBartlo Philosophy” back as soon as possible which is winning nothing else, do whatever it takes. Our team right now is not playing up to the Standard. We need to clean house on offense and just star over, with the exception of Frank Gore who is the only exceptional player, who is a winner! I love frank gore he is the best player we have. I think we should also keep Vernon Davis, because with if we had a good QB he will work, and flurish. These “small Arena looking Football receivers” aren’t cuttin it. Nolan is a Defensive guy not and offensive coordinator. We need to bring in the number one canindate for Head Coach, like those cowboys bastards did last summer starting a big hurah about the opening for there franchise. think we should give nolan one more year, if he immediatly fires Hostler and goes for a Blackbuster trade for a Big Target. We should look at aquiring Maurice Purify from nebraska despite he’s trouble, I think he’ll grow up and mature when he has the potential to make some Money in the NFL. We need to aquire a Star QB in free agency. We don’t necessarly need a superstar, but just an effective QB.
I think we should target Sage Rosenfauls of the Houston Texans as a back up or primary, or go after that elite QB next year. We need better protection 2ndary and first we need Big Tall Receivers. What the hell has gotten into us the last few years. the 49ers of the past were a offensive jugernaut, and now were a laughing stock. We need to bring in receivers this coming draft that are big and tall who can have the jumping ability to get the ball, and to discourage the backs and safetys. We need receivers in the first two rounds like Plaxico burreess 6?3 and above. I’m sorry but the new age of receiver in the NFL is a tall mans game, the small f*%* want cut it any more. We need leverage for the small backs gettin to the ball. All the big receivers give corners like clements a hard time. safetys and corners are generally 6?2 and below. our little receivers now do not have that height leverage and that size to discourage and push away to get open. We need to either make a trade and trade away our current receivers for one big receiver or we need to wait for the draft. I would trade D. Jacks and Gilmore to another team for a legit Big man. Something needs to get done sooner than later, I’m tired of this shit! we are the real America’s team, we expect better, were the best orginization. We as fans deserve better! We pay for this shit!
I think all this bad luck is coming to the niners because the city is filled with gay people, lol. also why can we even get atleast an average Wide Reciever that can catch the ball and be atleast 6 ft tall.
Is Sage R. A free agent next year or what, I keep hearing many of us talking about this guy? He looks nice though.
I was the first one to bring up Sage Rosenthauls. He hasn’t played much, and he is a little rusty, but being rusty he still kicks ass. With more playing time Sage we’ll kick serious ass, and people will say were did this guy come from, much like Tony Romon noodle(that that dimple face cowtipper.) I think this is sages’s last year on his contract, and I think that know that he’s getting more playing time people will realize this man is for real. this year is he’s coming out of nowhere year. He was backup for the Dolphins before houston, but this guy is a Diamond in the ruff waiting to be found!

He’s got height at 6′4 and he’s has sharpshooter arm. All we need is him and some descent Tall receivers 6′2 and above(Bring back Antonio bryant and one big Super Star Tall receiver over 6′3 and were set on offense! We need to pick him up in the offseason, before someone else gets him, because he be leaving houston for more oppurtunity and money after this year, I promise you.

Sage reminds me of that undiscovered talent that didn’ get time to develop, and thats was the case for that cowtipper Romo, who I hat with a possion. Rosenthauls could be like a Tom Brady or romon noodle, if he’s used right. Those QB’s started out as backups being used here and their and suddenly the talent was understood and used. I’m tellin the talent is understood with Sage. This guy is the undiscovered talent we need to bring in!
He’ll be cheap and want demand alot until we start winning, and then hell, I’ll be glad to pay him the bankload, becuase that’s how much we as fans are thirsty to be dominate once again!

the niners dont need a new qb the niners need a new OC. plan as day!! we dont need to play so conservative we should have punched it in on the one yard line instead of opted for 3 points. alex did throw a few interceptions but he is a young qb we just need to play more consistent and have confidence in what we are doing and thats where are issue is with OC he doesnt have any creditabilty and nolan is hust to dam nice
just enjoy the season lets get healthy one more draft and let see where we are this time of next season cause it will be alot better we lack a true wide out and vernon cant do it all. besides we didnt have frank in and we are hurting on the d side its just not are year
I’m sorry but the 49er Legacy expects to win all the time, not next year, not for a few years, but now. The 49ers always should expect to win. We should want to bring in the best of the best like we once did. The Patriots are doing it now, reminds me of us in the 80’s.

no i think we keep out frank so he can heal so we have a kick ass game in seattle on monday night
