Jesus H. Christ, This Offense Really Sucks
Not that it should come as a surprise after 7 weeks, but Christ this offense is bad and the defense didn’t help out that much. This week not sure if it is more Dilfer or what, but if Smith were in there the game would certainly be closer. Mainly because Dilfer has contributed to three turnovers and 21 or 24 points off. It’s one of those. I can’t remember for the life of me when the defense decided to hold the Giants to a field goal.
One plus, besides Ashley Lelie finally getting the opportunity to show that he can help this team by going deep is that the 49ers have a season high for offensive yards during this game…I think with about 240.
One thing to look forward to after these past two games, it can’t get any worse. Also when Smith finally comes back he’ll look like John Elway after Dilfer’s performances.
I think we we're really lucky to win that game... the defense wasn't great. They let gradkowski and campbell chuck ...

The 49ers look flat on offense with the exception of gore. Nate Bynam has dropped 2 balls on one ...

lottie901, why do you want to switch to the 4-3? If our offense would have been better we could have been a top 10 or 15 defense. Stay with the 34. With the 34 we have more LB’s on the roster to help on special teams, with the 43 we have less LB’s and more slow DT and DE. Trust me the 34 is better. Just watch next year with a better offense you will se what Im talking about.
I say stay with the 3-4….by the way lottie901….ALLEN RETIRED! Also, it is Desean Jackson NOT DEBRA JACKSON. I am not going to go off about Mario Manningham, but if I HAD to guess who we were going to get IF THE DRAFT started tomorrow I would say the niners would take him. I say that because of where Kiper says he lands on his big board…..he is 6′0″ fast, shift, and runs good routes, but has MAJOR STONE HANDS!!
This isn’t Kipers board, but here is where Scouts Inc has the talent ranked right now. Keep in mind they have players like Lauranitus who have said they plan to come back for their senior year.
