Wow, chalk up another loss is Dilfer starts again!
I see a season below 500. I have noticed that other quarterbacks are able to motivate their offenses but when Dilfer is out there I dont see any kind of urgency or motivation.
Big Mistake, put in Shaum Hill, I don’t see why they have’nt done this yet. In the offseason we should go after Sage Rosenthauls of the Houston Texans, this guy is a starter somewhere. I think this guy would be the guy we need to trade for or bring in to fix the problem at quarterback. We went out and got Steve young the same way with Tampa bay back in the mid eighties. We need to do this to get better, because our expectation level is too high!

After watching Trent climb up the back of Staley (similar to how Barlow ran into our line) and miss the rush blitz call, along with others mistakes…. It’s like he’s in slow motion….

I told everyone that injuries would kill this team this season,and i said trent dilfer wasnt our answer at backup quarterback.Now that Alex Smith is injured what have we done.the only good news we have is the Willis is a beast and Lalie has finely made his first catch as a 49er.We will be lucky to win 2 more games this season if we cant score over 10 points a game.
Is Alex Smith really going to make a difference? Our line sucks! Is it worth him possibly facing further injury because, without a doubt, he will get sacked. How many times is the question.
Saints defense sucks! Only thing we have to worry about are the defensive ends. Jonas jennigs might not play(good thing)and Alex Smith is probale to come back. Also darrel might not play( maybe Ashley Lelie can get more plays against Jason davi’s slow ass!) and patrick willis will KILL reggie bush!
Douche…At least Smith has mobility. Each loss would be different with Smith at QB.

For two years now, I’ve been trying to tell you that the biggest most significant problem with Alex Smith is that he holds on to the ball too long, he needs to get into a timing offense, where he throws to where they are going to be, instead of where they are.
