AN: Is it the Offseason Yet?
It’s pretty sad that when after just eight weeks I’m already looking forward to the offseason. Too bad I can’t get to excited about the draft. But hey if things continue to go like they have the 49ers should be have picks 30 and 32. Here are some of the latest rumblings going on Around [...]
MMP: Nolan’s on Notice
Another week, another loss. Not that at this point it should come as a surprise. It obvious that this coaching staff is clueless and in way over its head. You have the worst offense in the league and do nothing to fix it. Sad, truly sad.
Clock ticking on the Nolan Era. (As it should be)
Worst [...]
Same Crap, Different Day
For a brief minute before kickoff it felt that we would finally get to see the 49ers offense move the ball, that thought didn’t last long. The offense is so bad that it is starting to rub off on the defense. I’m trying to find a positive from this game, but I can’t. I will [...]
49ers: The Official Sponsor of KY Jelly
Newsflash! The refs blew lots of calls against the 49ers in the past few games. Not that this comes as any surprise, but it is always nice to see the refs bend the 49ers over and make them their bitch. Matt Maiocco had a nice write-up today talking about a few plays where everyone and [...]
Gameday Preview: Week 8 - Saints @ 49ers
The Saints (2-4) travel to 3Monster Stick this weekend to take on the 49ers (2-4). Both teams are struggling to stay alive and a win for either of them will help get their team in the right direction. The 49ers are heading into a 4-game stretch where their opponents have a combined record of 7-20. [...]
Stubborness is Nolan’s Downfall
As the 49ers prepare for Sunday’s game against the Saints in the midst of a 4 game losing streak, one would expect large scale changes to catapult the team back towards expectation. Afterall, a change at a certain, underperforming position or a new approach to the offense could provide the necessary spark or send a [...]
Forecast Radio Interview
Last night I was a guest on Forecast Radio with Ralph Malbrough to discuss the 49ers-Saints matchup. Mostly to discuss the current status of the 49ers. I apologize for some of the audio, I was on the road during the interview.
Forecast Radio: Previewing the Saint-49ers game
Thank you Niner Gods
Latest reports out of Niner camp are that barring any setbacks, Smith will start on Sunday.
Jonas ‘Mr. Glass’ Jennings and Darrell ‘Stone Hands’ Jackson are listed as questionable on the injury report and it looks as if Adam Snyder and Ashley Lelie will get their first starts of the season in place of the injured.
If Smith Can’t Go, Dilfer to Start
Word out of Niner camp is that if Alex Smith is unable to go this weekend against the New Orleans Saints, veteran backup Trent Dilfer will get his third start. We’ll know more about Smith’s status after todays workouts.
Gore who is day to day with an ankle injury said he’ll play on Sunday.
MMP: All Not Aboard
The Niners are sitting at 2-4 and if the offense doesn’t get its act together the Patriots will be looking at a top ten draft pick. Man does that suck. Here is what is going on the day after the asskicking from the Giants.
Gore says that the 49ers offensive problems are a matter of trust. (There’s [...]
