Teams Inquire about Kwame

Kwame-Harris-PenaltyMatt Maiocco reported on Thursday that the New York Giants came calling about acquiring the services of the Kwame ‘The Human Penalty’ Harris.

Unfortunately, word is that they offered a low draft pick, most likely a seventh-rounder. Along with the Giants apparently another team has inquired about Harris. The 49ers are looking for a conditional pick possibly a fifth-rounder which could bump up to a fourth depending on playing time.

I’m guessing neither of those teams have seen the Infamous Kwame video.

I say we trade Brandon Williams and Kwame in exchange for a another defensive player or Tall Receiver. Brandon is horrible, and I don’t see why we got rid of Gilmore. The man could hold on to the ball. In Chicago Gilmore scored a TD. We should get glmore back or like I said trade B. Williams and Kwame for that Wide – Out we desperatly need or for a defensive back! Manny’s Gone and at Linebacker and we have no depth at Receiver. Let’s face it guys our Offense is in worse shape than our defense. Our only go- to guy on offense is Gore. Like I said again, and again, but no one has said anything further about this, is that we need to Rotate Vernon Davis to receiver immediatly. This would be an experiment that would work. So someone relay this message to Mike Nolan. We need one more descent, big Receiver to fit the aquation, and Vernon is our Man! I want to win Now, not Later! I want number six before the Cowhicks, the Steelers, and the way that team in New England is playing the Patriots. They just need two more! We are the best orginization in football, not the Cowboys, and it’s time we start showing it! Let’s Win number Six and Beyond!

  2. Lowrance says:

I say wait for the better round draft choice for Kwame. Injuries make better draft choices…
As for receivers. Maybe I’m alone here, but I saw very little from Gilmore last year that showed me he deserved to be on this team….

  3. Niner Pundit says:

Agree with Lowrance on waiting for a better draft choice. Even though I’m one of the biggest Kwame non-supporters, you got to sit and wait and see if you can get something better than a 7th. Now as it gets closer to the trade deadline and the team knows Kwame isn’t in their future, then trade him for what you can get.

  4. Silverlake says:

I agree, Gilmore didn’t prodeuce much, but Williams is a step below Gilmore and he’s still on the team! We need to get rid of B. Williams and Kwame for another player. Like I said, read the above we need to Roatate Vernon Davis to receiver to open up our offense. We need to come up with a solution at receiver. Gore is not a receiver, and he can’t be our go-to guy for every play. That will wear Gore’s body down, possibly get him injured, and then what do we do.(Look what happened to Earl Campbell) We need to either trade for another Big Receiver or Rotate Vernon. I say we get that extra Receiver for exchange for Kwame and B. Williams, and Still Rotate Vernon to Wideout. I’m tellin Ya this will work. Vernon will get more catches, and be pleased, and did you see the amount of defensive backs it took to bring V.D. Down in that Rams Game. All I got to say is Damn! T.O. Move the Hell over, theirs a new kid in Town you Traitor! Let Experiment and do this!

  5. Silverlake says:

Send this idea to the Mike Nolan!

  6. Douche Bag says:

Gilmore will never be a 49er again!

  7. Silverlake says:

Good! just do the Above and get Better!

  8. FrankTheTank says:

What free agent linebackers are out their i think Lavar Arrington doesnt have a team but i dont know if he plays outside linebacker but we need to do something to fill mannys spot

  9. Silverlake says:

Does anyone think my above Idea is good. We need my above point across to the coaching staff. Something need’s to be done or we’ll have to wait till next year. I want to win now, not later. Read my above comment!

  10. Frisco Fan says:

Silverlake youe idea is horrible. Gilmore has had a remarkably undistinguished career and part of VD’s value lies in the mismatches he can create as we move him around. B williams is dead weight, as is Kwame (as a starter), but the issue hasn’t been the receivers. They haven’t even had opportunities yet. We need better protection for Alex combined with quicker decision making and everything will work itself out. if anything, package Williams, harris and DJax for a legit receiver that can stay healthy.

  11. Silverlake says:

The Idea is excellent, and you don’t call us Frisco. If Your a true fan you don’t say that word. Are you from Dallas Frisco! And I did say trade B. Williams, and Kwame.

  12. Lowrance says:

I do agree with moving VD around. I’ll agree to any way to get opone receivers! But I’m sure Nolan is well aware of how San Diego gets Gates open by moving him around….

  13. Lowrance says:

open receivers…. I should really proof read more!

  14. faccipazzo says:

the 49ers are so inept anymore at determining talent. Kwame Harris was an outstanding athlete, and like Leonard Davis of the Cardinals, he was at a loss playing tackle out in space, on either side, but watch the Raiders move him to the inside, like the Cowboys did with Davis. Davis who went from bad tackle to Pro Bowl guard, and kwame will scrap with the best of them, if, everything pretty much stays in front of him. My old Colorado line coach will have kwame inside before it’s over with, like he did with another good athlete, piss-poor tackle named Gallery.

  15. Cory says:

Faccipzzo Davis was always suppose to be a gaurd the Cards were to dumb to realize it Harris cant play at the G position…

  16. Ryan the 1st says:

I don’t want to talk about KWAME….he doesn’t even belong on this site unless we are talking about the compensatory pick we will get in the next draft FOR HIM. Did anyone see the ESPN poll about what players the fans want the niners to draft? I was at work so I couldn’t see it. I wanted to see if Quentin Groves was even an option. I seriously doubt he is there when we pick. If he is still there then there is a good chance HE WILL be the most talented player available, but think about this…….I was reading that Joe Staley diary on http://www.sf49ers.com and he said that the whole offensive line (even Jeb Terry and Dumain Duckett) went to a STeve Miller band concert with Alex Smith. GUESS WHO DIDN’T GO!! MR. GLASS!!! That is a statement folks. EVERY offensive lineman went, but him. I think Jonas Jennings might be on his way out the door and if that is true then we better be drafting a tackle with one of our first two picks. I think it should be our first unless Otah, Cherilius and Williams are gone. Then the niners would be right to wait until the second round.
